Today is move in day and I'm super thankful that my family is here helping me. I know my side of the room is going to be soo cute since my sister helped me pick out everything. We rolled my boxes and bags up to my dorm. When we opened the door I was just admiring how ugly this room is without decorations. I went to go unpack my pictures when I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned around I almost damn near passed out. I kinda wasn't expecting me and my roommate to talk at all. Let alone for her to be actually pretty. We introduced ourselves and she let me and my family have the room in peace. We spend hours decorating until it was time for my family to go. I gave my little sister a charm bracelet identical to mine so she'll know that we'll always have each other. When they left reality hit me like a truck. I'm really here. My roommate came back in the room and she sat on her bed.

"Soo tell me about yourself."

"Okay well I'm from Texas I recently just moved to Florida and now here. Ima a freshman and Im a communications major. I have a sister as you probably know and um yeah nothing about me is that interesting how about you?"

"I'm a marketing major and I'm also a freshman. I have two older brothers. I'm from Indianapolis and I have a boyfriend who goes here"

" ouu how's that?"

" I'm not sure yet you know since the year hasn't started. It's a little nerve racking but we should be fine"

"You seem cool I think we're gonna be good friends"

" me too"

"I'm kinda hungry you wanna go get some food?"

" Sure I'm down"

I am kind of regretting living on my own. I'm SO fucking bored. My day consists of. Waking up, taking a shower , eating, naps, and lots and lots of weed. I swear I've been smoking 10x more then I used to. I have too much time on my hands and living off campus away from the general population is taking a toll on me. I haven't seen Aiyana in months. I miss her a lot . I have a extra bedroom in my apartment and I could use a roommate. I need someone to talk to. Soo I went on twitter and tweeted that I was looking for a roommate and I told them to dm me for more info.

I went in the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal. Then walked out onto my balcony to enjoy the sun. My phone started buzzing.

Hmmm. She gave me her insta and from what I seen she seems cool I guess. At this point I don't care I just need a roommate. We talked over some stuff and we agreed that she can move in tomorrow . It's kinda soon but heyyy a bitch gotta do what she gotta do. Classes start soon anyways.

We ended up going to a seafood spot . The waiter led us to the table and we sat down. As soon as we sat down solai looked down at her phone and her whole mood changed.

" Hey you okay?"

" I'm fine"

"You sure?"

" Yeah girl, I don't wanna pile all my problems on you.. we just met"

" girl please I give good advice plus I can tell your gonna be with me through a lot of my shit"
