Just pretend that in the pic above Deku has rabbit ears and Todoroki has lion ears and a tail.Izukus POV:
Todoroki had taken me on a little outing outside of the castle so we could get to know each other a bit better. It had been about a week since I arrived at the castle and was declared that I would be the Prince's mate. Even though it was quite sudden it didn't bother me all that much. He has been very nice to me in the short time that we've known each other.
You're probably wondering how we became engaged. As he was next in line he needed a mate and by decree of Kind Endeavor, we were all meant to present ourselves the prince by the end of the month. Once I arrived at the castle it seemed as though Prince Shoto instantly fell in love with me. And seeing as he is royalty it was as if I had no choice. I had to go along with the announcement that I would be his mate and I would wed him when he turned 21, which was only a few months away. Until then we were trying to get to know each other.
We had been riding for a few hours before a band of pixies had startled his white horse knocking the two of us off before running off. Although I can't understand how pixies scared the horse considering its owner was a lion shifter but oh well.
We had been walking for a few miles in almost complete silence before Todoroki spoke up.
"Did you hear that?" he whispered to me. I didn't know what he meant until I strained my rabbit ears trying to detect what he had just picked up. And that's when I heard it the big snort of a horse.
I looked at Todoroki with a gleam in my eye. It seems we have finally found his horse! He motioned for me to stay put so as to not spook the horse more causing us to try and find it again. When he finally reached the horse he was about 100 meters from me. I began walking toward him but before I could even take a few steps forward something wrapped around my waist and I was pulling into the sky. Not knowing what was happening I started to scream.
When we were nearly at cloud level in the sky I looked up and saw the biggest red dragon above me and came to the realization that that was what had yanked me into the sky.
Todoroki POV:
While out with my future mate Izuku my horse had been spooked causing it to rear up and knock the two of us onto the ground. Thankfully I had sat the rabbit shifter in front of me so I was the was that was crushed by the small omegas weight instead of the other way around.
We had been walking for a few miles before I finally heard sounds coming from what I was assuming my horse. I asked Izuku if he could hear them and a moment later he nodded his head. I motioned for him to stay put as I slowly approached the scared beast. I didn't want to spook him again and make my poor omega walk any more than we already had to. Even if he didn't say anything I could tell he was exhausted.
I had finally reached my horse and grabbed his reins before I reached out my had and started to pet the scared beast. I turned around to start walking back toward Izuku when I noticed a rather large bird diving in his direction.
My eyes widened as I realized that it wasn't a bird at all but rather a very large dragon and it wasn't just diving in Izuku's direction it was going for him. I reach my hand out as if I could reach him from this distance as I go to yell out his name the dragon's claws wrapped around his waist and yanked him into the air with such speed. By the time my brain reacted to the situation, Izuku was too high in the air for me to safely do anything to save him. I cursed as I watched him being flown away higher and higher into the sky until he disappeared into the sky above.
(A/N I know this is a short chapter I'll try to get the next one to be around 1200 words if I can. Until next time Author out)
