Zoom Meeting.

Social Distancing.

"IM GOING TO BE ON A ZOOM CALL, SO WHATEVER YOU NEED ASK NOW OR WAIT UNTIL IM FINISHED!" I yelled before locking my door so nobody would come in.

I put my name and the password for zoom and waited for a moment. I was then met with a bunch of people. Most of them not showing their web cams. There was about 14 people on there including Petra, Alfred, Slade, and Thomas.

Alfred: Hello, Ryan. Were just waiting for a few more people to show up before we actually start.

I nodded and muted myself. Sitting at my computer screen for a moment before getting up to grab my headset. With my webcam on, I would assume almost everyone was looking at my screen.

I grabbed my headset and connected them to the computer before sitting back down and putting them back on.

About 5 minutes had passed and about 3 more people had showed up. Aaron, Matt, and another kid who I didn't know the name of.

Matt had a look of bordom and tiredness. He looked like he was going to black out any second. I could see Rufus running around with a chew toy in his mouth.

Aaron also had a look of bordom and tiredness. But instead of his pet running around in the back, his cat was sitting in his lap looking around. There was also something else in a bed behind his chair but I couldn't tell.

Thomas: Seriously, how long will it be until we can start. People actually care about sleep.

Matt nodded his head frequently.

Alfred: Its 4 in the afternoon...?

Matt: So? sleep is very important for the body.

Ryan: yet you stay up until 3AM every night.

Matt: uhhh, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Ryan: Uh-huh sure..

Alfred: We can get started right petra?

Petra: Depends, how many students are here again?

I looked towards Petra's and Alfred's screens. Petra still had his rainbow glasses restinh on top of his head, his sky blue eyes looking a bit darker and he was wearing a white T-Shirt saying, 'Science rules!'. While Alfred had a yellow long sleeve shirt. His hair was a bit messy but had yellow highlights.

Speaking of highlights, I looked back to Aarons cam and he didn't have that blue neon dye in his hair anymore. He didn't even have that dumb wolf hat he always wore. (Cold..)

He looked way too different. I'm not used to seeing that...

Ryan: Aaron what happened with your hair and hat?

Aaron: What..?

Ryan: You don't have your hair dyed anymore and you're not wearing that dumb wolf hat.

Aaron: the next time you call my hat dumb I'll give you corona.

I sat back in my chair.

Aaron: I got rid of my hair dye because I can. And I'm just not wearing my hat.

Matt: I will say you look very weird without it.

Aaron sighed and muted himself. He turned his chair around to talk to whoever was in the bed behind him.

Just as the small bit amount of sanity left inside my body was about to fall out my head, the last two people had finally showed up. Tori and Lexi.

Matt: What the hell took you both so long?!

Lexi: I'm sorry, I had to catch up with my best friend.

Matt: Yeah well, can you do that after the zoom meeting is over?! We had to wait over 35 minutes! Even Rufus is bored out of his mind!

Matt then moves his chair to the side showing Rufus laying on the ground with his chew toy in front of his face.

Aaron: I think its because he's in the room with you.

Matt: 'scuse me?

I was about to just straight up leave the meeting all together before Slade spoke up.

Slade: Alfred, I'm tired, I'm bored, and I'm hungry. I haven't eaten anything all day, and there's a bowl of candy waiting downstairs for me so can we just hurry it up please?

Alfred: why didn't you eat anything? You know what forget it.

Petra: Thomas wake up!

Thomas was on mute with his head resting on his desk. Alfred then went on his phone and started doing something.

Thomas's phone vibrated, and he woke up.

Thomas: What? I was sleeping!

Alfred facepalmed and mentioned things about school work per usual. But said something that really sparked my interest.

Alfred: So, our academys thought since were at home all day doing nothing, how would it be to use potions during this time?

I looked at the cams, Aaron had his head resting on his palm. He looked kinda interested.

Petra: Potions you say? How come I haven't heard of this yet?

Alfred: Because you were asleep when we were discussing it.

Petra: at 6:30 in the morning?

Alfred: yes.

Petra picked up his notebook and slapped himself with it.

Petra: I was up at 6:30!

Alfred: then why didn't you join?

Petra: BECAUSE YOU DIDNT SEND ME THE MESSAGE!

I think, I think, I think they might arguing. (Sarcasm)

Aaron: Okay, shut up, what about potions?

Ryan, tori, Lexi, and matt: Yeah!

???: Y'all be talking wayyy too much.

Someone had said. Their voice had a mixture of a average mans voice and a male teenagers. Aaron then mumbled something.

Aaron: Shut up Nathaniel...

Ryan: Who's Nathaniel?

Aaron: A nobody...

Nathan: Hey!

Aaron then moved his chair away from the monitor to show a blonde haired and blue eyed boy. He had a white shirt on and he was sitting criss crossed on the bed. He looked a tiny bit like Aaron with the eyes but the two looked really different.

Nathaniel: that's no way to talk to your brother.

Aaron: shut up Nathaniel.

I could see Nathaniel glare at Aaron but I didn't mind.

After about 40 minutes of talking about potions and magic, I left the zoom call and went back downstairs to be greeted by my mother. I sat down at the table and said, "so, my bully has an older brother." Grabbing my water and drinking it, "I'm not surprised. He might have a brother to keep him in check while your brothers just leave and come as they please." My mom said.

"They're over 23 years old." I told, "yeah, well, it would be nice for them to stay for a while and say hi." She said, "they do." I told. She grabbed a knife and turned around to look at me, "and I agree with you 100 percent! Yep, yep, totally agree!" I panicked, "thanks!"
