letter twenty- four: how you just want to have fun

Dear T.S.,

Even though it may not seem like it, I personally think that just wanting to have fun is something that takes a lot of confidence.

Let me explain.

For you, having fun was playing volleyball that made you feel good (so, your guess blocking). Even when people continuously put you down for it, you continued to play the same way, just because you wanted to have fun when you played volleyball.

Even after knowing that people could/ would bother you for it, you kept going. To have fun.

That's so cute.

And a bit chaotic.

Like, "yes, I will go through bullying because this is f u n!"

Most people would just change their playing style so they wouldn't have to deal with that, but not you.

You wanted to have your fun, and didn't care about what other people said about it, and I really admire that about you.

I most definitely loved this about you the very second you told me about your past encounters with people teasing and bullying you.

After seeing you almost everyday with the same happy and excited attitude, always looking for me ways to enjoy himself, it made perfect sense to me how you would keep playing the way you wanted to.

And I absolutely adore that about you.

So Tendou, in case your couldn't tell, I really love how you just want to have fun.
