3rd POV
It was a regular day at the base but today some members had to go to on a mission so they were preparing. They had a meeting the previous night about it.

*previous night*

"Okay so tomorrow everyone but y/n, Jeongin, and Felix will be going on a mission to get files from CRAVITY. Minho you will be on standby in the van in case of any injuries. I will get the files. Everyone else knows what to do. 8:00 pm sharp tomorrow we leave since that is the time there most vulnerable." Bangchan announces to everyone in the room.

"Make sure you are down here 15 minutes before you guys leave so I can do a supply check to make sure everyone has what they need. Jeongin will also be notifying about anything so if you need anything or something is up make sure to report it to him through your earpiece so it gets to me and we can deal with it." Y/n said following up on what bangchan said.

Everyone nodded their head. "Now go pack up and prepare. Get a good sleep for tomorrow. I will be in my office if you guys need anything feel free to drop by." Y/n said calling off the meeting.

*back to current time*

Y/n was working on some disputes that could possibly expose Straykids so she had to prevent it. Looking through files of people. Tracking and filling out information.

Meanwhile

The boys who were going on the mission were preparing things from bullet proof vests to guns.

"Bang Chan-Hyung do you know where my ear piece is?" Hyunjin asked shuffling around. Bang Chan looked around too and thought for a good minute or two before responding, "You can ask Felix he was fixing them last time. If not you can ask y/n for hers since she isn't going."

"Ah okay thanks Hyung." Hyunjin said leaving to look for Felix.

He found Felix and asked, "Lix-ah do you perhaps have my ear piece?" 

"Ah! Yes here you go. I was fixing it but I haven't test run it yet." Felix said showing Hyunjin.

Hyunjin grabbed them and thanked Felix. Going off about his day preparing for the mission.

5 hours later

Y/n was still working on some cases as Jeongin came in her office.

"What brought you here at this time?" Y/n asked still looking at the reports and cases.

"Nothing I was just kind of bored. By the way you haven't been working on your criminal operations in a while." Jeongin tells the lad.

Y/n places the reports on the table and looks at Jeongin. "Jeongin you already know why I stopped." Y/n says sternly looking at Jeongin.

"As your brother I just want you to get back into what you loved. "Battlefield" You use to love it." He said emphasizing battlefield.

"I'll think about it. You can go now." Y/n said getting back to her work.

The boy left the office and y/n started working on her stuff once again.

30 minutes later

Y/n leaves her office and goes downstairs to where Felix is and hands him a small stack of files from previous missions just to go over them as both y/n and Bang Chan already did so too.

"Here you go Felix. All you have to do is the usual go through it. When you're done you can send it back to me or Bang Chan." Y/n said giving the stack to him.

"Anything for y/n" Felix says half smile smirking.

Y/n nods and goes on about her day.

Y/n POV
I was overthinking about what Jeongin said earlier. Should i or should i not start training again. It's basically been over a year since I've shot a gun. The trauma is not the feeling of shooting. It's the feeling of not being able to control herself from the numbness. Going loco while on battlefield. Uncontrollable.

Maybe I'll try tomorrow. Doesn't hurt to try right? Okay settled. Plus I've been overworking myself with stuff. I need a breather.

7:30 pm

The boys were all slowly making their way downstairs. I went to check up on them. They were all down by 7:45.

I went one by one checking everyone's supplies.

Earpiece ✔️
Bulletproof vest ✔️
Hand knife ✔️
Medic kit ✔️
Trackers ✔️
Bomb (standby) ✔️
Etc ✔️

"Okay you guys are all good." I said waving them goodbye.

As soon as they left I turned around to Jeongin. "Start tracking. I'll be beside you watching too" I said to Jeongin and we started walking to the room.

We sat in the chairs in front of the big screens watching it.

"Hand me my ear piece" I told Jeongin and he did so. I put it on listening to them.

There was actually nothing as they were silent for a while. I was getting kind of hungry so I went out as Jeongin continued watching the screens.

I went to the kitchen. Grabbed a quick meal and ate it.

"Y/n! Felix! Come here Hyunjin's earpiece got disconnected!! I can't reach him!"
