Kara had decided to take the day off from CatCo and the DEO. As she waited for her pizza in the oven, she sat on the couch. Kara kept on remembering what happened when Mxy came back to help her. She knew that she made the right decision to keep everything the way it was, but something was still bugging her. Suddenly, Kara heard a knock at her door. She slid her glasses down her nose and X-Ray visioned through the door. It was William. Kara got up and answered the door, "William? What are you doing here?" She asked. "Just wanted to stop by and check on you, catch up and all." William said. Kara gestured to come in. "I was just making a pizza, are you hungry?" Kara asked him. "No, I'm good. So, how are you?" Kara took out her pizza while replying, "Oh, I'm good. Just relaxing, day off from CatCo." Kara's phone then rang, "Hello? I'm on my way." She put her phone down and faced towards William, "I'm sorry, Alex needs me.. Family Emergency." Kara quickly put her pizza down as William said, "Oh, Okay.. I'll see you at work?" "Yup!" Right as William shut the door behind him, Kara flew out of her balcony to the DEO.
"Hey! What's the problem? I'm ready to fight some bad guys!" Kara told everyone as she walked through the entrance to the DEO. "This prisoner won't talk to anyone, says he'll only talk to you, Kara." Alex tells her. "Well sure! I am ready to talk to this prisoner!" Kara says excitedly. "He could be dangerous so be careful." J'onn buds in. Kara goes to the prisoners cell, he looks human, but then why would he be at the DEO.. "You wanted to speak to me?" Kara says confidently. "Well, finally. If I didn't want to talk to you, I wouldn't of gotten myself caught now would I have." Kara stares at the prisoner. "Now, Kara.." Kara steps back a bit, she was dressed as Supergirl. How did he know her identity? "It's not that hard to put together, you claim you and 'Supergirl' are close friends but, well. You've never been seen in the same room now, have you?" Kara looks at the prisoner in disgust. "I know that your life, just isn't complete." The prisoner says. "What do you mean?" Kara asks him. "Now, your Supergirl, crime fighting superhero! Kara Danvers, CatCo reporter. Two very sucessfull careers. But." "But, what?" "No love. Nobody. No boyfriend, husband, wife, fiance. No-body." Kara looks at him in anger. "But, lucky for you. I, can change that. You get 3 wishes. No more. No less. And you can't wish for more wishes." Kara seems confused but she knows better. "Why? Why me?" "Well Kara darling, your mother, Alura, she was quite a good friend of mine. And, before Krypton, kabooshed, I promised your dear mother that I would give you, your 3 wishes. So here I am." J'onn then came into the room. "Kara, he could be dangerous. It's not worth-it." He tells her. "Well, if he knew my mother, then maybe it is worth-it." Kara comes up to the cell, "I wish to meet my soulmate." J'onn leaves the room, he is annoyed with Kara. But if that's what she wants.. Thats what she'll get. "Ahaha. Now, lucky for you, and for me. You, have already met your soulmate." Kara looks at the genie and tells him, "Then who is it?" "If only I could tell you.. But this wouldn't be as fun. You've got two more wishes." Kara thinks for a moment before wishing again, "I wish to socialize and interact more, with my soulmate." The genie snaps his fingers and says, "Smart wish. You may expect this 'interaction' in the next week. Now you've got 1 more wish." Kara pauses before walking away, "I'll keep that for later." Kara leaves the cell and goes back to the main part of the DEO. Her life could finally be complete.
