"And who are you?" William says straight to Mon-El. Mon-El looks down before he says, "Mike, and I was just leaving." Mon-El looks back at Kara in a shocked, but sad way. She moved on, He thought. "Mike. He's just an old friend who just came into town." Kara says. "Uh-Huh.. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything." William says. "Oh, no. He was just leaving anyway. So how can I help you?" William looks down and then back up at Kara, "Listen, Kara. I really like you. We've gone out before and you sa-" Kara cut him off, "Oh.. William, I'm really not interested in a relationship right now. I'm sorry." William had 'hurt' written all over his face. "Oh, I understand. Sorry. I'll get going." William left Kara's apartment, and left her thinking. It will take about a week for the relations to start. Kara remembers. It could be either of them. And she wasn't sure which side she was rooting for.
Mon-El went back to the DEO to see Alex waiting for him. "You went to talk to Kara." Alex says. Mon-El is a bit surprised, but he is pretty predictable. "Yeah. I bet you know how it went down." Mon-El tells her. "She poured out her feelings then rejected you?" Mon-El nods. "Did you talk to Brainy? Maybe he told you why Winn and I need to be here.. today." Mon-El avoids the situation. "No, I think he's waiting for all of us to be together, to tell us.. Anyways you should get some rest, there's some beds ready for you and Winn in the Medbay." Mon-El nods and goes to the MedBay, he lays down and starts to think. Could Kara really had moved on? I mean we were pretty serious.. But it has been a long time..
Kara laid in her empty bed, thinking as usual. Mon-El came back, but that was because Brainy told him he needed too. It couldn't be Mon-El anyways, we already went through that. Then, we have William. He said himself he likes me, but do I like him back?
Morning came, and eventually Kara had to wake up. Kara had decided to go to Noonan's for some breakfast and coffee. Kara stood in line and checked her phone. The person infront of her must've not noticed that the line was moving, so she politely told him to move up. To her surprise it was just who she didn't want to see. "Oh sor- hey Kara.." He said. He ordered his coffee and then Kara ordered herself a chocolate croissant with a latte. Kara took a seat at one of the bar stools and sipped her latte. "You know there are other coffee shops.. You don't have to go here just to find me." Kara told Mon-El as he sat down across from her. "I actually happen to like Noonan's just as much as you do." Mon-El responds. "And, I figured we needed to talk.." Kara took a bite out of her croissant before saying, "There's still nothing to talk about. And especially about last night, there's nothing to talk about." "You know you still get that crinkle when you lie." Kara was annoyed that he still remembered that, but it made her feel some type of way knowing that he remembered. "If this is about William, he's just a friend. He works with me at CatCo." Mon-El nodded, "I was getting there, but I think we should talk about what happened before that little run-in with.. what's his name? William?" Kara knew what Mon-El was doing, he knew exactly how to get to her heart with his words, "Fine. Al's Bar. 6 pm. Don't be late." Kara got up, threw away her croissant wrapper and walked out the door.
