A Promise

Shuichi and Rantaro got closer and closer by day. Since they couldn't go anywhere, they just talked with they're fellow classmates. All of them were trapped in the school and were forced to kill each other before a certain time limit.
Shuichi waited in the dining hall. Rantaro said they would meet up since he wanted to talk about something. Shuichi wasn't mad he was waiting, he did get their 5 minutes early.
Rantaro started walking towards the dining hall until he lightly touched Shuichi's hat. "Eh!" Shuichi yelped. "Hey! It's just me, sorry if I scared you," Rantaro said taking his hand off of Shuichi's head. "So, did you need me for something?" Shuichi asked adjusting his hat to cover his face more. "Actually it's something I want to ask you." "Oh okay, go ahead." "Once we get out of here, I would like to travel the world with you," Rantaro said rubbing the back of his neck. He looked back at Shuichi who was smiling under his hat. "Of course I would Rantaro," he said eagerly.
The two boys were so excited to get out of this place and they were so close. "Well, now that I got that covered, I'm gonna head to the library," Rantaro said. "Catch you later!" He said waving goodbye to Shuichi.
Shuichi stood in the dining hall still eager to get out. He really did like Rantaro and would like to get to know him more.

I love you Rantaro.

Shuichi got out of his thoughts and went back to his room, soon to know the promise he and Rantaro made wouldn't last much longer.
