Once the teacher is done taking role, he decides to just let everyone have a free day seeing as it's Friday
"Their coming.." I spoke a little as nick and I watched the group walk up to us
"1 v 1?" Bill looks directly at nick and lunges a basketball at his chest, which nick caught just fine
"I'm not into sports" nick tosses is back to Bill
"I said," Bill starts talking harshly, "1 V 1"
"And I said no" nick is trying to get up and walk away and I try to get up
"Whoa! I don't where you think you're going! Sit back down kid" Ram shoved me back into the bleacher seat and nick spun around
"Aye don't touch him, I'll play your stupid basket ball match!" Nick defended me and I felt horrible
Ram and Winston sat beside me while James just stood up and watched
Nick isn't good at basketball at all but he did manage to get 1 in but Bill won
"Well now, looks like I win, now I want my reward boys" Bill smirked and glared are nick and I
"What do you want Bill?" I slightly spoke up
"Oh wow! So he can talk!?" Bill laughed and I noticed james looked at me shocked, like as if it his first time ever hearing my voice
"How about say some more words nerd!" Bill glared at me and I felt myself get pushed up off the bleachers by Ram and Winston
"Talk!" Bill spat in my face
Nick tried to bud in but Winston held Him back
"TALK!" Bill pushed me and I noticed everyone's eyes were on us...
"Leave me alone!" I pushed back
Bill tried to swing at me but I dodged it and suddenly all I knew was "dodge it"
HISSS!
the sound of a loud whistle blew and I ended up finding myself in the arms of James, he was holding me back while Ram held Bill Back
"ENOUGH!! BOYS! Run 30Laps! You two?! Go to the principals office!" The couch shouted at all of us and sent nick and I to the office
I could still feel James' arms around me..
We ended up sitting in the office for a while, long enough for the jocks to run 30 laps and still make it down to the office
The principal finally starts calling people into his office. Ram, then Winston, then Bill.
James was the last one of the jocks but instead of being silent like how they were, James leaned towards me
"Hey, I'm sorry about earlier, are you ok?" James' voice was so soothing it felt like honey suckles and soft rain drops...
"Huh-? Oh yea, I didn't get hit, I just kept dodging him" I finally snapped out of it and said something to James
"Good, you might want to keep dodging him, I'm sorry. If you ever need anything, just look for me"
