The road lights swooshed over us as we passed them, the soft orange vibe and the settle vibration of the car driving down the road
I look over to my left to see Him driving, James, the sweet orange lights shine on his face as he smiles
"Where do you want to go?" He asks me
I hesitate to speak..
"Hey, Lion, you were really brave back there. You managed to get my horrible 'friends' to let go of your friend, Nick, and you managed to get out of that fight without a single bruise or busted lip. I'd say that's a win for you, wouldn't you say?" James glancing over at me but looking back at the road as he spoke
"Uhh..y-yea... but I wouldn't of gotten out of that so easily if it wasn't for you"
"Ok and? All I did was remind them how important tonight's game was"
"Wait if it's so important then why did you leave?"
"It's Important to them, not me. Coach will chew me out later but the next game I'll have plenty of time to revive myself out on the field, one slip up like this won't hurt"
"You left the game because of me didn't you?"
"...it doesn't matter if I did or not does it? Just look on the bright side! It's just the two of us right now- oh! I got a place we can go to!"
James eyes light up and we manage to get to a cliff or something where we can see the city and all its lights
We get out and we stand infront of his car
"Do you like it?" James smiles and looks at me
"Honestly yes" I look at him and everything went silent
His eyes... his lips... him...
Suddenly we kissed and I panicked
"Oh my gosh- i-I'm so sorry! I- I shouldn't of done that!" James quickly spoke and I just stood there shocked and flustered
"J-James... I- I didn't know you..."
"......." James was quiet, he just tried to look away from me
"James," I start to speak as I move my hand over to his and gently grab his hand which caused him to quickly turn his head and look at me, his eyes were starting to water up, "James, you said I was brave earlier? Well I'm going to be really brave and tell you this, I like you"
James just froze up but he didn't pull away or back up, instead he just smiles a little
"You know Lion, you really are as Brave as a Lion" James smirked then leaned in and we kissed
We pulled away from each other to look back at the city With our hands together and fingers entwined
"We are Brave.. I AM BRAVE!!!" I shouted and James jumped but then smiled and took in a deep breath
"I AM BRAVE!!!" He shouted then we looked at Each other
