Chapter 1: A Mission

Car beeping...

"Take care son, I love you." He said.

Words he remembers before his father finally left to work abroad.

But he never came back since that day.

While he was missing his father, his mother became ill.

Until he was alone.

He did not give up on his complicated life now because he could only rely on himself so he worked hard even when he was alone.

Years passed.

Alarm clock ringing...

A young man woke up to the very loud sound of the alarm clock.

He immediately moved his hand towards that noise to stop it.

"Good morning, another great day!" He greeted himself, and he stretched out his two hands upwards and at the same time opened his mouth to yawn.

He was thrown out of bed and immediately went to the bathroom to take a bath.

After taking a bath, he got dressed and walked out of the room but for a moment he stopped when he felt someone following his direction.

"Meow-meow." A cat speaks as it licks the young man's foot and smiles.

"It's you mingming, you're caressing me again, are you hungry?" He asked his pet as he caressed its head.

"Meow~!" cat replied.

He picked up his pet and went to the kitchen, "Oh... Come here, I'll cook then let's eat."

he only ate half-cooked egg and toasted bread for breakfast. He just fed his pet and then hurried away to reach class time.

6:50 AM.

He only has 40 minutes left to reach school by 7:30 AM.

He is now in a car on his way to their university and in an unexpected accident that occurred due to a collision between a car and a motorcycle he got stuck in heavy traffic. He did not check it because time was running out but he still looked at the driver who was bleeding inside the car and the one lying on the road.

When his path was clear he immediately proceeded on his way.

7:45 AM.

He had already arrived at the university but he knew he was late for their first subject.

Madali siyang binati ng guwardya ng school. "Good morning Van!" saka kumaripas ng takbo paakyat sa ika-apat na palapag ng gusali at sa class A pa ang kasalukuyang pangkat niya na matatagpuan malapit sa library.

"Ang guwapo parin niya kahit hinihingal 'no?"

"Kaya nga at ang bango pa."

Bulungan ng mga babaeng nakakasalubong niya habang tinatahak ang bawat palapag ng gusali. Hindi maikakaila na may angkin siyang katalinuhan at kakisigan kaya kilala siya ng lahat sa buong campus.

Pumasok na siya sa kanilang silid-aralan at agad nitong pinukaw ang atensyon ng buong klase. "You're late again, Mr. Tiu." Bungad sa kaniya ng kanilang guro na nagpakunot ng noo niya.

"I'm asking for forgiveness ma'am. I'm sorry, I am late." Sabi nito habang panay ang kamot sa ulo.

"This is not the first time you are late, alam niyong hindi ako ang gumagawa ng grades niyo kundi kayo 'yon dahil taga-input lang ako ng mga ginagawa niyo sa university na ito." Pagsesermon nito sa binatang nahuli sa klase.
