Song recommendation: Is this Love? by James Arthur

~

Yoongi waited outside Jimin's house for the younger to come.

"Hello, Yoongi" The said person, turned to see Jimin's grandmother standing behind him with a flower pot in her hand and a smile on her face.

Yoongi smiled back, bowing to her.

"Can you help me with these, child?" She asked, holding the pot up.

"Of course" Yoongi immediately took the pot the from her hand and placed it where she pointed out. There about dozen more flowers that Yoongi helped with it.

"Thank you child" She smiled, patting Yoongi's head.

Yoongi smiled again. By the time, Yoongi was done helping, Jimin had come out as well.

"Oh Jiminie, dear, are you two going somewhere?" Jimin's grandmother asked

Jimin nodded, getting off the porch and standing by Yoongi's side.

"Okay dear" Jimin's grandmother chirped and went inside the house.

Once she was inside, Yoongi felt Jimin's hand warp around his as the younger pulled if after himself. Yoongi chuckled, running after Jimin.

"Where are we going, Jimin-ah?" Yoongi asked.

"You'll see" Jimin looked over his shoulders and smiled.

For a minute Yoongi forgot everything else in the world and all he knew was Jimin. His body filled with love until he was feeling like he was drowning in it. And Yoongi wasn't complaining. Yoongi held onto Jimin's held tighter, scared of letting go.

Yoongi guessed, Jimin must have felt it. He looked back and then to their hand and back up at Yoongi. Yoongi could feel his heartbeat thumping when Jimin interlocked their fingers.

So...

This is love?

He should know these streets like the back of his hands. This is where he grew up. But then why did everything seem brand new? Why he did feel like he was experiencing everything for the first when Jimin was in front.

If this love...

Yoongi wanted more of it.

"Hyung hurry" Jimin urged, looking back at Yoongi with a pout.

Yoongi spaced out once again when he saw Jimin's face. Even though he knew he shouldn't but he couldn't help. He didn't want to help. There was nothing about Jimin that Yoongi wouldn't want to watch. Jimin was such a view. Why would Yoongi not want to see him?

"We're almost there" Jimin said.

When Yoongi looked around, he knew that he had been to this part of the city before but he couldn't remember when. He couldn't because all he could think about was Jimin.

Jimin. Jimin. Jimin. Jimin.

That's all that went through his mind.

Yoongi stopped in his track when he saw Jimin stop. He was about to ask Jimin what happened, when the younger turned around and smiled.

"We're here" Jimin said, his eyes curving into those pretty crescents.

Yoongi looked over behind Jimin and saw the city's flower garden and he wondered why didn't know about this place before.

"Let's go" Jimin beamed, buying tickets for two and then rushing inside while still having his hands interlocked with Yoongi's.

Yoongi heard Jimin giggled as they ran through the lanes between the flowers, under the soft golden glow of the evening sky. Maybe it was mind playing tricks on him, but he swore that Jimin looked so ethereal now.

Jimin was looking beautiful that even in a place full of exquisite flowers, Yoongi's eyes never left the younger boy.

They reached what Yoongi guessed was the center of the whole park. There was a huge water fountain and flowers all around.

"Do you like it?" Jimin asked, turning around but still holding Yoongi's hand. Now, with both his hands.

Yoongi tugged on their joined hands and pulled Jimin closer, "I love it"

Jimin smiled wider, his caramel eyes hiding behind the crescents and his blush turning a soft of shade of red.

~

Yoongi had Jimin had explored as many flowers as possible until they both got tired and sat down one of the benches under a tree. By the time the sun was near to the horizon and would soon hide away for the rest of the night. The sky was a mix of oranges, reds and blues.

"Did you enjoy today?" Yoongi asked. He wasn't really a flower person but he still tagged along. Well because... Jimin.

Jimin nodded, leaning back on the bench and sighing. Yoongi noticed that Jimin shivered a little and frowned. He took of his jacket and held it in front of him.

"Wear it. You're cold" Yoongi said, his voice stern enough so that Jimin didn't say no.

Jimin pressed his lips together and nodded. The natural blush on his face darkening a little. It was when Jimin was putting on the jacket did Yoongi properly notice the outfit Jimin was wearing.

A soft purple shirt with fuchsia embroidery and a sky blue skin-fit jeans.

Yoongi knew there was something wrong with it. But he couldn't put a finger on it. It has been like this from a before Jimin's birthday. There was something different about what Jimin has been wearing.

It wasn't.... Jimin-like anymore.

There was something different and Yoongi could feel it. But he couldn't as Jimin about it, because wasn't sure. However, before Yoongi could ponder about it, he left Jimin lay his head on his lap.

"Is this okay?" Jimin asked, looking up at Yoongi.

Yoongi smiled and raked his fingers through his blonde locks, "Of course"

Jimin closed his at the sensation of Yoongi's hand through his hair and sighed satisfactorily, "Can we stay like this for a while? After that we'll head back"

Yoongi hummed, looking up at the darkening sky, "Okay"
