Moving to a different country, the Barrett parents thought was going to be better for them. Until Nessa meets someone she can't lay her eyes off of. He is tall, brown hair, blue/green eyes, and his smile... he was so dreamy!
D: Ness, let's go! N: sorry dad, be down in a minute.
I go to the bathroom and slowly brush through my hair. I look back at my room, then back at the mirror, to much memories went through my head. I grab my brush and put it in my suitcase, then walk to the car. I sit down beside my little brother, Julian. I smile as my dad starts to drive.
M: Ness, wake up. N: huh? M: we are here. N: oh... ok.
I get up and grab my bags. I go inside and up to my empty room. I sigh as I slowly unpack my bag. I go back downstairs and get boxes from the truck. I turn around as a boy looks down at me.
J: hey, I'm Josh. I'm your neighbor. N: heyy, I'm Nessa. J: you need help? N: uhh.. yea sure.
Once all the boxes are out of the truck, Josh grabs a piece of paper and puts it in my jacket pocket. He smiles, then runs off to his house. I walk up to my room and look at the paper. It was his number. I smile and quickly put it into my contacts. I smile and walk downstairs. I sit on the couch next to my brother. I grab an apple off half built table, then take a bite. I grab my phone a quickly text Josh.
Josh 😘
N: hey.
J: hey.
N: what you doingg?
J: chilling with friends.
N: oh cool.
J: YO, you wanna come over? Meet some of my friends and stuff.
N: I'll ask my mom.
J: ok, if she says yes ill meet you at your place.
N: ok.
I smile and jump off the couch. I run up to my patents room where they are building their bed.
N: hey mom, can I go to Josh's house? M: yea sure. Be home by 12!! N: ok. Thank you!!! Bye.
I run to my room and text josh: "she said yea, meet me at the door. I'm gonna change quickly." I smile, then change.

I smile a run downstairs. I open the door to see Josh standing there. He gives me a hug, then shows me to the house. Once we get there, he opens the door for me, then takes me to the living room.

Basically they are all in a relationship, I'm the only single one. And guys this is Nessa. AV: Hi! N: hi. AD: we are about to watch a movie.. wanna join? N: sure. K: ok.. what movie? O: Wizard Of Oz. I haven't watched that in so long. J: I'm down.
When the movie ends, I look at my phone.
N: shit! I gotta go. J: home? N: yea, I'm late so ima be in shit. J: ok I'll walk you.
Josh gets up and opens the door. We slowly walk to the front step of the house. Josh looks at me. I smile as he slowly bends down to kiss me. I miss him back, then open the front door. I shut it lightly, then the kitchen lights turn on.
M: your late. N: I'm so sorry! We were watching a movie and I lost track of time. It won't happen again I swear! M: it's fine. Just please get to bed. Long day tomorrow. N: ok thanks. Goodnight.
I walk upstairs and Into my room. I shut my door and lay on my bed looking up at the ceiling. I think about what Josh had said.. "I'm the only single one here." Kept running through my head. I slowly drift to sleep.
