Hara sped through the door of the infirmary, accidentally striking Riarshi on the side of the frame.

"Oww!" he yelped.

"Oops, sorry," she said with an evil little snicker.

The infirmary on the second floor of the academic building was a wide, white-tiled room with fifteen beds lined against the walls. Right as one stepped through the front door, they would enter a small square office panelled with glass windows that looked out into the treatment area.

Sitting at the wooden desk at the back of the office was a slim, pink-haired nurse who wore a pair of thin-framed glasses. She jumped in her chair when the clunk of Riarshi hitting the door frame echoed throughout the silent, empty infirmary.

"My, my. What do we have here?" the woman said in a smooth, velvet voice as she straightened herself up in her chair.

She rose from her desk and strode toward them, tall heels clicking on the floor. She wore a nurse-styled variation of the typical white and purple Heroine uniform, which because of its skin tight fitting, flaunted her tall and slender figure with ease.

Just the sight of this woman almost healed Riarshi's leg completely.

Hara's brows shot together, and she turned her head away. "He broke his leg during an exam not too long ago," she half-lied.

The nurse bent over to survey his leg. As she did so, Riarshi cautiously read the nametag on her upper left breast: Nurse Jayne. Her uniform was plated with a silver circle along the abdomen - signalling her rank as a Hero.

Nurse Jayne's eyes widened after a brief scan of the damage. The pretty features of her face squeezed into a slight grimace. Her lips, red from lipstick, pressed together.

"Your leg is in some rough shape, kiddo. I have to take you right in."

She opened a glass door leading into the treatment area and beckoned them in with a frantic hand.

The same second Hara released her magic to plop Riarshi onto one of the blue-cushioned plinths, the nurse hovered over his crushed leg. Before he could twitch from the surprise of her closeness, she wrapped her right hand around his thigh, only a few inches from his hip. Her grip was soft and comforting.

Riarshi's brain nearly exploded out of his skull, but it wasn't because of discomfort.

"W-Whoa, what are you doing?" he stammered awkwardly.

Nurse Jayne slightly smirked. A glowing pink light emitted from her palm, showering Riarshi's crushed leg in the same glow.

"I'm using healing magic on you, dummy." She smiled even wider. Her eyes narrowed behind her glasses. "Not used to a woman's touch?"

"I...Uh..."

The nurse giggled. She was older than Riarshi, no doubt, but her face displayed no signs of wrinkles or age related marks. The youth in her aura was still strong.

Her smile faded. "Like I said, your leg isn't doing so hot," she stated, her voice more serious than before. "Your femoral shaft is completely crushed and you've lost a lot of blood internally. I'm honestly surprised you haven't passed out already. I'll have to use a lot of magic on you." She gripped his thigh tighter.

With each second she applied this warm and oddly pleasurable spell to his injury, the throbbing pain of his leg slowly decreased in intensity. It now only prickled like his leg was asleep.

Nurse Jayne glanced over to Hara, who was sitting in a chair at the side of a separate bed. Her arms were crossed.

"Is that your girlfriend over there?" Nurse Jayne asked Riarshi, her voice dripping with curiosity.
