I flip the switch in the TARDIS and grasp onto the railing for dear life, knowing from past experience that if I don't then I'll get some pretty nasty bruises and cuts. The TARDIS lands and I walk outside, taking in my surroundings: Nearby river which leads to a pond; a rose bush, and several mythical creatures such as: Fairies, unicorns, and nodes. I've seen many odd creatures, but none of which were even thought to be existent, or "proven" as myths!
I walk down to the pond and sit on the side, pulling out my journal so I could sketch these beautiful creatures and their lush environment. Occasionally, some of them would play around me, or nudge me. I stayed for an extremely long time, playing with the creatures, until it came dark, then I left.
The TARDIS purred as I entered, "I know, girl, it's so beautiful and peaceful..." I said to the TARDIS, petting her. "Let's take a break, okay?" I suggest, she purrs, it's been a long day of traveling; we both need a break. I flipped some switches and pressed some buttons so that we could park in the solar system.
The TARDIS parked and I went into my bedroom and slept, but something seemed off for some odd reason.
I woke up at 6:00 AM, I have almost an internal clock that lets me know exactly what time it is; I guess that comes as a perk to being a TimeLord. I went into the TARDIS control room and pet the TARDIS, "Good morning, girl. You ready for another day of traveling?" She purred, I set the controls to random and held onto the railing again, per the norm.
This time, there was sunshine, yet there was also: Rain, snow, and high winds. The weathers of this world were indecisive, yet oddly wondrous in their own way of strangeness. I found a calm spot so I could write and draw my surroundings, the worlds I've visited thus far are small; less chance of some alien, Dalek, or Cyberman invasion that I'll have to deal with.
The weathers in this world didn't bother or pester me in any way, almost as if they weren't there to begin with. After concluding the journal writing for this world, I hopped back into the TARDIS and set off again.
After a long day of traveling, writing, and drawing, I had one more place I wanted to go: It was a fairly simple place, not much, but it was magnificent. I typed in the coordinants, forgetting what had been bothering me before bed last night. I flipped the switch so we could head off, grabbing the rail again. The TARDIS jerked around as usual, but this time, the power shut down.
We had fallen through a fictional time vortex.
A/N: Hai guys! So I'm sorry if this chapter was really short; I didn't want to start off in the place of adventure, but I ran out of ideas for this first chapter... And, guys, for one: No, no-one will be meeting the VenturianTale crew, just their Gmod characters! Two: I did not make an OC and use her for this story! Three: If you haven't figured it out already, it's in The Doctor's POV. Four: It's The Tenth Doctor. And five: This entire story will be in this same POV. So, yeah, just wanted to point that out to you guys. Allons-y, fellow adventurers! HeRpAdErP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
