The rabbit-boy offered his hand to me, and I took it. He helped me down from the tree, then led me around the back side. I saw a large, gaping hole in the ground, not 10 feet from where I had been sitting.
"This is it?" I asked. The man laughed, then swooped me up into his arms. "Hey, wait!!!" I yelled as he jumped into the hole.

I found myself sprawled on a marble floor, with the man nowhere to be found. My side ached, and I rubbed it gently as I stood up. The land around me was cold, completely opposite from the temperature of my world. My dress, I realized as I noted the light fabric and short sleeves, was entirely inadequate. Looking around, I saw a cobblestone road, and I set off down it at a brisk walk.
The road was deserted. I never saw any signs of civilization. My body was wracked with shivers, and, to top it all off, night suddenly fell around me. I stumbled along, teeth chattering, weary and freezing.
"Hey!" Someone called. I stopped walking, searching for the source when it jogged up next to me. "Are you okay?" The guy asked, putting a hand on my shoulder. I shook my head, too cold to talk. "Hey, c'mere," He said, leading me off the road and towards a small tent. He pulled back the tent flap and I nearly fell inside.
