"Kate can we talk?" Harley asked
Opening the door to her office, Kate looked up at her and nodded pointing to the seat in front of her desk.
"What's up Quinn, you should be getting ready we leave in an hour." Kate said closing the binder in front of her, Harley clutched her necklace and looked down at her feet.
"Nora kissed me." Harley said quietly, Kate leaned back in her chair and smiled at Harley.
"That's good, you should be moving on." Kate said throwing her glasses onto the desk, Harley shook her head and looked at the necklace, it was a thin chain with the ring Ivy had given her before she died, Kate raised an eyebrow.
"I can't, I'm not over Ivy, I'm still not ok I guess? How are you okay? You seem fine." Harley asked, Kate scoffed and rolled her eyes, how dare Harley assume Kate was fine with Ivy being dead. She stood up and rounded the table leaning on the edge of the table facing Harley, her arms crossed.
"You're so ready to move."
Kate snapped, she leaned forward grabbing Harley by the collar of her jacket and bared her teeth.
"Don't you dare, she was my child and she's dead." Kate threw her back into the chair, Harley stared at her with wide eyes as Kate scoffed and looked at her feet. She took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Ivy may have been cold and distant from everyone but she wouldn't want us to be moping around like fucking babies, Ivy loved you with every ounce of her heart, it would break her heart if she saw you now." Kate said, Harley stayed quiet and looked down at her feet again, Kate scoffed again and stood up straight. She looked down at Harley.
"Get it together Quinn, we leave in an hour." Kate said leaving her office and Harley by herself. Harley knew Kate was right, she didn't know why she was being so held back from everything. She wasn't going to engage with the Nora but she wouldn't stop being so distant from life.

"Good morning Dr. Müller, how's the freakish little plant?" Dr. Crane asked walking into the lab, Müller looked up from his clipboard and then down at the girl on the table, her eyes were closed, if it wasn't for the faint rise and fall of her chest it would have looked like she was dead.
"She'll be fine, I've fed her and she should be ready for the tests soon, just let me finish drawing her blood and she's all yours." He said writing some more stuff down on his clipboard. Crane thought for a moment before sitting down at the desk.
"Müller, just in case things go to shit I need you to make a contingency plan." He said, Müller looked at him, and eyebrow raised, Kohl was never the one to be concerned, he was always overly cocky. Müller nodded opening a drawer, he took out a large needle with black liquid in it.
"If she's escapes, this will make reality seem a little different for her, if she gets back to her friends this little syringe will show her her greatest fears, she'll end up killing her little friends ." Müller said putting it back in the drawer, Crane smiled and nodded.
"You're a good man Müller." Crane said, he looked down at Ivy and patted her cheek.
"Wake up." He said patting her cheek again, Ivy's eyes fluttered open and she looked around, Crane grabbed the tube and ripped it out of her nose, Ivy winced, struggling against the restraints again, he smiled and looked back at Müller before snapping his finger. The guard walked in and started undoing the straps that tied her down. He threw her over his shoulder, she was far too weak ti right back, she was surprised she wasn't dead and also worried she wasn't dead yet.
She heard screams, she could tell it was a child, she used her the rest of her strength and rolled off the guards shoulder and onto the ground, she groaned, landing on her arm. The guard turned around and bent down to pick her up. She quickly grabbed his gun and shot him in the leg.
"You bitch!" He yelled grabbing his leg, Ivy pulled the trigger again hitting him between the eyes, his body dropped to the ground. Ivy held her arm as she stood up and grabbed the guards ID card, she opened the heavy door and unlocked the door. She saw a small child on the ground holding his stomach and groaning.
She walked over to him and grabbed his shoulder, shaking him gently. "Hey, are you alright?" She asked, he turned to face her, his face oozing dark green liquid form his eyes and mouth.
"Are you here to save me?" He asked grabbing her hand, Ivy nodded and picked the boy up in her arms, he was no older than 7 years old. She could tell, the boy smiled and wrapped his arms around her tightly.
"What's your name?" He asked quietly, Ivy snuck down the hall quietly.
"Ivy, what's your name?"
"Daniel." He said leaning his head on her shoulder, Ivy hummed as she walked over to a staircase.
BANG!
She crumpled to the ground, holding the boy close and avoiding him hitting the ground, blood rushed out of her thigh. She was shot. Two guards ran toward her, one grabbing her and the other grabbing the little boy.
"No! Leave him alone he's only a child!" Ivy yelled struggling against the guard, Crane walked in, gun in hand and a wicked smiled on his face.
"You're brave, way too brave." He said pointing the gun at the little boy, Ivy shook her head and reached out for the boy.
"No please, don't hurt him." Ivy said, the guard slapped handcuffs on Ivy while Crane put the gun against the boys head, Ivy turned away from the boy as Crane pulled the trigger.

"Hey, Kate." Harley said grabbing her arm, Kate turned to her and sighed.
"What Quinn?"
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that to you." Harley said, Kate nodded and opened the door to the jeep.
"Quinn, Ivy is gone, now all we have is each other." Kate said, Harley nodded as Kate got into the jeep, Harley looked back to see Kara hugging Lena tightly, she felt a twinge of jealousy as the two broke apart and kissed. She jumped in the jeep as Kara flew towards them, in a flash of purple lighting Nora was sitting beside Harley in the jeep in full gear.
"Alright guys, let's hope this goes well." Kate said turning the key, the engine roared to a start and Kate immediately pressed on the gas.
