"Good morning family!"

Henry took a seat at the table. It was breakfast time. He loved this time of the day, when the whole family took breakfast together. It was the start of another nice day.

He loved his life. Why not? He was a king. He was a young and worthy man, and a capable leader too. He had lost his parents when still nineteen. As the elder of his siblings, he assumed the throne. Despite his age, he made it well. Malgravia, his country, was one of the most powerful kingdoms. His people were prospering and they attributed that to Henry. Well, he deserved it! He was striving for their prosperity! Except for that, they admired him for having looked after his younger siblings at such a young age. Women desired him and dreamed of becoming his wife. In other words, despite the misfortunes, he had a handful of reasons to be happy.

Edward, his brother, was telling him a joke he remembered from their boyhood. Edith, his sister, teased them about their escapades back then. Henry's siblings, as younger and single too, were staying in the palace with him. The three of them were truly close and they really had fun together.

Henry had always been the protector in the family. His siblings considered him a father. But they were kind of overprotective at the same time. They would get furious with anything or anyone who would oppose or compete with their brother. He was their god.

So, as the valet handed Henry a letter of complaint from some of his councilors regarding an administration matter, the merry ambiance was gone at once. Edward and Edith cursed them like they were the worst villains on earth.

"This is politics! We can't have everyone satisfied with everything! After all, I see some point in their arguments!"

But they wouldn't listen. They couldn't help but be prejudiced against those opposing their brother. Henry sighed. "I've got to do something about it someday..." However, he was constantly wrapped up in something of greater importance. And he always postponed it.
