~Chapter - 1: Mother + Daughter's Last Bond.~

Today is the day your mother got excepted to the experimental laboratory of her dreams. She decides to take you there on her first day.

You wake up from the sound of your mother talking a bit loud on the phone. You got up and went downstairs to see what was up.

"Yes....ok....thank you for this opportunity sir, you won't be disappointed...ok...see you there then..." Your mother hangs up and notices you. "Oh, Good morning sweety."

" Hey mom, um... who were you talking to?"

" I was recently excepted into the new experimental laboratory that was recently established." She looks at you with an excited look.

"Woah...really? Wait- does that mean that I'm gonna actually have the apartment all to myself?" You mentally smile to yourself.

"Maybe... I'm not sure." She smiles at you "I was gonna tell you that if you wanted to go with me to the laboratory with me on my first day."

"Oh um, sure!"

You got yourself ready to go with your mother to the laboratory. You were a bit excited to go, not as much as your mother of course. You really wanted to see what types of experiments and scientists were going to be there. When you and your mother arrived , you starred in awe at the laboratory building. As you entered, you were a bit disappointed. There wasn't many experiments there. It was still a pretty cool place. You and your mother had reached the place your mother was needed at. You then saw a man in a white lab coat, probably the person your mother was talking to earlier.

"Why, hello Ms. (Your last name here) " He then looks at you " You must be her daughter your mother kept telling me about."

"Hello...uh- Mister....?" You pause. 

" -Huang...Michael Huang." He then shakes your hand and your mother's.

Your mother and Mr. Huang start talking about what your mother will be doing, you on the other hand, you start looking around and look at the few experiments. While looking around, you notice in one of the experimental cages a blue, number-like figure. You head towards it and look closer. The blue figure notices you and quickly looks up at you in shock, clearly scared.

" Hey little guy..." You wave at the figure, which kinda calms it down. " What's your name?"

"F-...F...Four...." You could tell it was struggling to talk.

"Ah...So I see that you found Experiment: Four..." You turn around and see Mr. Huang and your mother.

"Oh...uh...yeh..." You laugh nervously.

"It's funny how you and your daughter are so connected, (Your mother's name here)." Mr. Huang then looked at your mother.

"Huh...?" You look confused at Mr. Huang.

"What Mr. Huang meant was that I'm going to be working with other scientists on Experiment: Four." Your mother smiles at you. "Which is (according to Mr. Huang) one of the proudest and most important experiments here!" She seems really excited.

You look back towards "Experiment: Four" and start to pity it. You felt bad for it, since you noticed that when it saw you it was clearly scared. What twisted "experiments" are they gonna do on it? Suddenly, your mother breaks you from your thoughts.

" Well sweety, it's almost 9:00, you should get going." You mother gestures to start leaving. You then remember that it was true, you had school and start to leave.

" Oh...ok mom" You hug your mother and start heading towards the exit, but then quickly turn around to look at "Experiment: Four" and wave "goodbye" at it. It looks at you and tilts, apparently confused. You softly laugh and leave.
