3rd Person POV

In the span of four days, Vixen and Andy planned their wedding. Filled with excitement, sleep didn't matter. They'd have their wedding tomorrow, at the facility, at 2 in the afternoon.

Andy already had a suit, and Vixen would wear her only basic white dress with white heels. She didn't care for a luxurious wedding dress or anything like that. She just wanted to get married. A normal dress will fulfill that for her.

Guests arriving include Vixen's old classmates, some old instructors, and Andy's mother. Veronica is the maid of honor and Ace will be the one uniting the couple. With this, Andy and Vixen were happy. This was all they needed.

Now, the night before the wedding, Y/N and Veronica were hanging out at Y/N's apartment while Andy was having his night out with the boys. "The boys", meaning Rio and Mark.

"Man," Veronica smiled, looking away from the movie, "who would've thought you'd be getting married this year?"

"Dude, I didn't even think Andy would come back into my life this year...or any year. I'm glad he did though. Even back in the day, I felt like he was the one." Vixen smiled, thinking of their history. Their story is definitely something else.

"I love that I'm the flower girl and maid of honor."

"Same," Vixen chuckled, "spread those petals! I want the aisle completely covered."

"I will," Veronica's eyes caught the time, "oh shit. Time for bed, get that beauty sleep."

"You right." Vixen stretched as she stood up.

The girls headed to bed together, both dressed in their fuzzy pajama pants. After an hour of trying to sleep, Vixen resorted to melatonin and Veronica's soft lullaby. With that, Vixen was knocked out until morning.

When the sun rose the following day, the girls woke up and got breakfast together. The time is 10:30, their morning is intended to be slow and peaceful.

They decided to hop for breakfast, their favorite place for every occasion. The best friends ate pancakes at the table with coffee, still in their pajamas, and hair tied up in messy buns.

"So when we get back, we'll do your nails, makeup, then hair. Dress will be last, we don't want it getting dirty." Veronica listed.

Vixen nodded, "sounds good. After that...all we gotta do is get to the facility to start the wedding."

"Only hours away! How you feelin'?"

"Good. I mean, I kind of freaked out this morning because it really hit me that I'm getting married, but what is there to be nervous about? I'm straight chillin'." The bride shrugged, smiling as she glanced down at her ring.

"You said that was Andy's mom's ring, right?" Veronica asked. "The way you describe her, she sounds like she could be your mother too."

"...she pretty much was. She's more of a mother to me than my biological mother."

"...have you seen your biological mother around since you left? It's ok if you don't want to talk about it."

"No...I haven't seen that woman at all. I hope I never do, honestly. I think...I think if I see either of my parents, I'd kill them. May god be with them if they have the courage to come looking for me." Vixen's eyes seemed to darken when thinking of Thomas and Sylvia.

Then, there was Ricky...Vixen's biological father, who she's never met. Sometimes, even after she left her old life behind, she'd wonder where that man was and if he knew she existed. She thought about what would've happened if her mother left Thomas and married Ricky instead.
