  Picking up what the disease destroyed was difficult. Bodies were near their skeletal forms as time and nature picked away at their skins. Weathering was a big factor in the natural cycle of life and death, tearing away at everything left standing.
  The undead weren't so far off from eating what was left living than who was left alive. It was the destiny of the world while people died as their creations went with them. Even in the light, the world was plenty dark.
  There was no tunnel with a light at the end. This was an abyss, a bottomless pit of despair and suffering. All caused by a single disease.
