A/N: I am currently having trouble finishing the next chapter for this sooooooooo... I thought I'd write this! I love Prides fest but I've never been to one. This takes place after the war, sorry I was late 😥

Katie's POV

I woken up to my alarm yelling at me and a pair of arms hugging me that belonged to my sleepy a fiance, Y/N. And yes she proposed to me and all but what matters is that we love each other. After a few seconds Y/N woken up and nuzzled my neck with her nose.
"Morning to you too~" I replied, she removed her arms around me so we could get ready for the festival. With the lions got we decided we'd may as well join the parade with the others.
"Hey babe I'm going to make breakfast, what do you want?" Y/N asked me.
"The usual" I replied still to get my shoes on, Y/N chuckled and left the room.

Y/N had worked at a restaurant that Hunk opened about a year later Shiro gotten married with Curtis, and speaking of which. Keith and Lance also gotten married a week later they did, Y/N and I being Lance's grooms maid and Shiro and Hunk being Keith's best man. They later adopted a puppy. Cute isn't it.
"Babe breakfast is ready so you better get here before I eat it!" Y/N called playfully. I sneaked to the Kitchen to see Y/N standing over my plate setting down my waffles with egg and sausage on the side and waited for her to put down the stuff.

"Katie, babe the foods about to get co-" She says but to only get interrupted by me tackling her into a hug. She looses balance and we both fall onto the floor, seconds later we're both laughing.
"I finally found you," Y/N grins and sits up.

She then gets up and carries me to my spot at the table. We talked and crack in some jokes time to time but we mostly ate.
"I'm going to call the guys," Y/N said grabbing her phone. Before she could leave I grabbed her hand and pecked her cheek, making her chuckle. Everything about her was so amazing, her smile, hair, gorgeous E/C eyes, kindness, gentle touch, heck even her walk. It felt as if the galaxy made a masterpiece like her and brought her to earth! Who would've thought she'd choose me out of everyone, but I guess it's fate. Without me noticing Y/N picked me up and hung me over her shoulder's.

"Wow Pidgeon your really deep in thought," Y/N replied with a smug look.
"I was not, I was just thinking!" I pouted.
"Awww you look a-dork-able when you smile Kate~"
"Am not"
"Are too~"
"Whatever let's just get to the festival" I playfully punched her arm as soon as she let me down.

-30 minutes later-

Your POV

Katie rested her head against my arm the whole car ride to the festival, I wasn't used to all the attention she gives me since she doesn't have her face on the screen. She used to read stories on this app called 'Wattpod' I think but she'd read for hours but she'd never tell me what she read and blush hard. But that was in the past. Anyway, she nuzzled my shoulder with her head just as I parked the car.

"Hey Kate were here,"
"Just one more hour then we go,"
"Katie Holt to earth," I said poking her forehead, she groaned.
"I'm gonna get out alright,"
"Noooo don't go pwease," Katie whined, I laughed at her and picked her up on her side of the door.

The whole way I pretty much carried her on my shoulders the whole way towards the others.
"Hey guys," I called to the group, they all turned towards us and seen Katie.
"What's up with Pidge?" Lance asked poking Katie in the forehead making her shoot a glare at him. Lance walked back towards Keith.
"Let's say she got to comfortable in the car," I chuckled at them. We all caught up with each other about all the news and what our new jobs were going to be from now on. Lance decided to live on his farm and help grow back the land, Hunk was going to travel in space organising the coalition bringing the universe together by his cooking, Shiro decided to retired but I don't blame the guy, Keith decided to stay in the Blade to help humanity, Pidge and I also decided we'd stay on earth too but she'd organize the next generation of Legendary Defenders and I'd pretty much take care of (sorry no spoilers for the story😅).

Katie looked around and saw all sorts of booths almost making herself fall off me.
"Babe look!" Katie squealed pointing towards the t-shirts booth. Everyone looked at her confused.
"The t-shirt booth?" Keith questioned.
"They have matching t-shirts for couples! Y/N babe can we please go there" Katie squealed. I couldn't say no to her otherwise she'd be grumpy-gunderson and ignore me the whole week.

Not only that but she'd make me sleep on the couch!
"Well I don't have no choice anyway," I replied while thinking about those cold nights without a blanket.
"YAY!!" Katie cheered while jumping off my shoulders. We lost her through the crowd due to her shortness. She was always a spunky potato. Once we gotten towards the booth she had bought eight t-shirts, that's my Pidge.
"Finally you guys got here," Katie beamed with happiness. She handed each couple pair their t-shirts that resembled them.

"Pidge you really didn't have to-" Shiro began but saw me from behind Katie speaking to him in sign language saying "Don't she'll have a mental breakdown" he oh'ed and went back to speaking again.
"I-I mean I love them thank you Pidge,"
"I'm so glad you like them!" Katie beamed happily while dragging me around the crowd.

We watched the parade for awhile until we went to some more booths, played some games, ate, and later went to an mini arcade then to our house. We had the time of our lives! But soon the others left one by one only leaving Katie and I.

Katie laid with her hands on my chest as she nuzzled me. My arms wrapped around her to keep her from falling off me.
"N/N?" Katie asked. I hummed before softly tightening my grip. I could sense she was nervous, I didn't know of what tho.
"Have you ever thought of us being together?" Katie asked blushing hard. My breath hitched it's and my body went stiff, we never talked about having kids ever.
"N-not that I wanted to be with y-you but I-" She started but stopped as soon as I laughed. She looked embarrassed but I stopped and looked at her.
"I'm sorry kitten I wasn't laughing at you it's just it was adorable when your so flustered," I said making her look at me as my hand cradled her head. Her blush faded slowly but she continued to keep eye contact away from me.
"But then again I never thought you'd ever ask that, but I can't imagine a world without you at my side. I want to see you at your best and help you at your worst," I replied determinedly tone. She smiled.
"This is why I love you" Katie said then kissed me and rested her forehead on mine. A smile made it's way to my lips, seeing her at her best makes me feel stronger. Seeing her at her worst make me feel terrible and I try about anything to make her happy just to see her smile.
