Loki's Family: Avengers + Loki (Abandoned)

Letters

I was sitting in my room when I heard a noise in the hallway. Quickly I put up my illusion and stood. Then my door opened and in came the Avengers.

3rd Person POV

When the Avengers entered Loki's room he immediately stiffened. The Avengers noticed and assumed it was because he was an illusion. Thor decided to test if Loki was real and threw a pencil at him. Calmly Loki let it hit him and said in a monotone voice "What do you need."

  The Avengers were confused what had happened to the Loki who had a sarcastic comment for everything. Tony then finally responded with a calm "We came to check to see if you were an illusion." Loki then said "Well you came, you saw, and you tested so now leave" The Avengers seeing that Loki was real left the room. When Loki could no longer hear footsteps he dropped his illusion a second time, took a shower and got in his bed.

Loki POV (Abuse Warning)

Before I went to sleep I summoned the muzzle I had been wearing previously. I knew that I would be screaming during the night and didn't want to seem weak.
So I strapped it on and entered the land of sleep.

Dream
 
I looked around the throne room seeing only my father and myself. I was terrified to say the least. I was alone with the man I feared more than anything. Odin slowly walked up to me and then slapped me across the face. Now I was shaking in fear as he hit me over and over until I screamed out in pain. Then he got a needle and thread and slid it through my lips over and over. The entire time he did this he repeated one sentence "You must not tell lies".

Dream/Abuse over

        I woke up to a loud pop. I looked around and saw that a letter had fallen on my bed. As I grabbed the letter I pondered who it was from. I opened it up and what I read made me happy and scared at the same time.

Dear Father,

  Hela has returned safely to us and told us the reason for your actions. We are proud of your courage and do not blame you for anything. Seeing as you are jailed in a mortal building we will be able to visit soon. In one week we will visit you in secret.

P.S. Fenrir built you a new helmet.

Loki read the letter with tears in his eyes, he would finally after two years see his whole family. With that thought, he drifted into a dreamless sleep.
