Here is some clarification about some characters:
Firstly, Loki's children are all human in this story.(Some are shapeshifters)
Second, Loki is incredibly young in human terms to have six kids. But in asgardian years he is on the young side to be a parent but not unreasonably so.
Third, these stories are basically just short oneshots about the days before he sees his children.
