Chapter-3

I wake up as light falls on my face. I hold my hand up and see there's a whole glass wall on one side of the apartment.

I get up and look at the scenery outside.

"Wow...Just wow" I gape in amazement.

On the other side of the window, there's something I've never seen before.

It's a beautiful green valley, with magnificent mountains and hi-tech skyscrapers, 

floating platforms and ancient ruins, which seemed odd. 

But it looked so greenly, and happy, the air was chill and fresh and gave you a surge of energy as it passed through your lungs,

 and there were giant butterflies flying around the skyscrapers and ruins. 

But wait..there were people riding the giant vividly colored butterflies, and they were...pale green?

My jaw dropped in shock. Green people and giant butterflies?

"Where am I?" I say dreamily..maybe i've died, and this is heaven.

I look around and there are three rooms and one huge kitchen, but no T.V, just a huge bookshelf.

I go to one room, and put on a white tee and black shorts, and tie my hair up in a ponytail.

I observe the bookshelf, not knowing what else to do. 

The books on the shelf have weird names-

like -'The complete guide to spells and curses.'  ,

'The Witches Grimoire'. ,

' Vampires- a complete study'.  ,

' Celestials- Hybrids and traits."

'Werewolves- True or myth'

But only one book really catches my eye, and thats 'Weapons of Territe silver & their Tokens'

because on the cover there's this picture of a ring that looks like it was made out of the metal my ring is made of.

My ring is the only thing that i have left of my parents.

I had it when i was rescued from the fire, and it's grown up with me.

It's made up of a special type of silver, that i haven't ever seen anywhere else, it has a word engraved on it 'Eros' and tiny roses follow the curve of the ring.

I open the book, and flip through the pages, there's a lot of incomprehensible stuff in here....

Pictures of swords, canons, guns?, different shaped swords, bows and arrows, each paired with a single piece of jewellery- like a ring, or a necklace, or an earring. I reach the end of the book, where there's a page called 'Famous Tokens of the Royal Celestials'

Just then there's a loud knock on the door. "Who is it?" i say while opening the door.

It's the Zelan guy, from yesterday.

Leaning against the frame, he says ."guess you've never seen anything like this, huh?"

"Never." i say, agreeing

"So, We are going to start training today, and there's someone i'd like you to meet" he says.

"Oh, okay"

"Follow me," He says, leading me out of my room. I nod.

"Anyway, Yesterday you said something right,"

"What did i say?" he asks.

"You said that you were the prince of Terra or something."

"Yep"

"wh-what? You mean you rule this kingdom?"

"No, my dad does, but, i'm not going to take after him anyway, the chances of that are very unlikely"

"Whyy?"

"Because, we are going on a suicide mission."

"What? You didn't tell me about that part, and 'we'?"

"Yep, I'll tell you later," He says stopping at a large Oak door. I open my mouth to argue, but he continues. "-My father wants to speak to you."

"What, why?" I say, getting nervous.

"Because of a prophecy, and because of some dreams, and because of a curse."

"That doesn't make sense." I say, annoyed and anxious.

" Wait, how do i explain this? Okay, See, centuries ago, before the earth was created Light made a prophecy."

I nod, feeling the temperature dip by a degree in the air around me and feeling rather scared, and empty.

"What prophecy?" I asked, extremely curious, but scared too. : and what do you mean by 'light'?"

"Look, the forces of energy are living. Which means they have life in them. darkness is living, Light is living, fire is living, the earth is living, water is living and the wind is living."

"Weird, but okay. Wh-Okay, hang on a second. You're saying that those elements are people?"

"Well, not exactly people, but they have life. They are not in the human form naturally, but they can appear as humans if they want to. They are constantly flowing throughout the universe."

"Well...Okay"

"Now that you know some of the most basic stuff, I'll let my father explain the history. See ya!" He says, with a smile, turning his back to me.

"Wait! Zelan!"

He turns back "Hmm..what?"

"Is this going to be dangerous?"

" Like any other great story, of course" He said, and left.
