"keep in mind the interviews will be back to back so you won't have much time for other stuff this week," sofia's manager told her.
"the interviews will end maybe around 7 pm so you can rest throughout the night and remember not to get crazy," she reminded her again and sofia chuckled.
"i know, we've been through this millions of times," sofia told her manager.
"well the last time you ended up with some green eyed cuban with hickeys all over the place," sofia's manager reminded her.
"not gonna happen again, well the hickeys won't, pero no promises," sofia put her hands up in defeat.
"if you say so, now get ready, you're promoting your new single and the first interview is with zach sang," her manager told her as they got into the car and drove off to the interview.
they arrived within 10 minutes and were on air the moment sofia was ready.
"hello beautiful human we've got dan here today," zach introduced his co host in the studio.
"wait are you talking about me or him because like frankly i agree he is a beautiful human," sofia asked zach jokingly and laughed after.
"well, thank you, i appreciate that," dan answered her and laughed away from the mic.
"okay here's the deal, relax dan, everyone is beautiful in this studio," zach said and sofia agreed.
he asked her about her new single and how it came about.
"well the song has a story behind it, so does the rest of the songs in my ep which will be fun to talk about in the future but papi was about a guy that's kinda obsessed over the fact i'm latina, it's like a fetish for him," sofia started.
"he'd also learn these nasty phrases in spanish that just, basically like asking to be punched in the face," sofia chuckled and the rest of the people in the studio laughed.
"and then one day i don't know but i called him over by name, like 'hey come here,' and he was like 'nah don't call me that call me papi,' and i was like-" sofia stopped and made a face to explain her feeling at the time.
"-and then i was like nah bro i'm not gonna call you papi. so like yeah it's inspired me to write this song," sofia ended her explanation.
"wow, was he white?" zach asked her and sofia laughed.
"i can't say nothin, i don't wanna expose him like that," sofia said laughing and zach just nodded understanding.
"okay so how has this whole music career been with you and all how has it been going?" zach asked her.
"well its been going great i've got very supportive people behind my back and it's nice honestly. and with my ep i'm really happy about it since its in spanglish and that's exactly how i wanted it to be, like i can finally write songs in both spanish and english which i wasn't able to before because people told me you either do it in spanish or in english, you can't do both," she paused as dan asked something.
"were they old white men in suits?" he asked her.
"well he wasn't exactly in a suit," sofia said squinting her eyes as if trying to remember something.
"oh so they were old white men?" zach confirmed and sofia laughed finally realizing what she said.
after a more questions and cozy conversations with zach the interview ended and sofia was out for another interview.
