"Mom, I have to work again tonight but Chris is going to stay with you."
"Does he know how to make my tea?" With mother's soft-spoken and shaky voice I barely understood.
"Yes, two milk and two sugar in the mug Cass got you for Christmas, right Mrs. Whittier?" My boyfriend Chris jumped in so I didn't have to repeat the conversation I have to have every morning.

Chris is currently between jobs and has been picking up some shifts at a local bar for some cash but on the days I have to work he stays at my place to watch my mom, I can't afford to pay someone to take care of her and Chris tells me every day that he doesn't mind, so this will work for now.
I picked up my purse and not before kissing Chris goodbye I was in my car on my way to work.
Morgan was waiting for me with two mugs, he handed me one and we headed inside. He knows how much I hate walking into the building by myself so he's always waiting with two coffees.

"Hey babe, how was work?" Chris asked as I walked through the door. I walked over to the couch he was sitting on and sat on the armrest beside him.
"It was the usual, lots of calls. people needing my help, you know..." I trailed off. Chris stood up so he was next to me.
"This is the most interesting conversation in the world, do you want to move it to the bedroom?" He asked trying to act seductively. I just nodded my head and he picked me up and carried me to the bedroom
