She has a routine, every night she gets ready for bed at 8:35, give or take a few minutes. First, she runs into the bathroom, takes a shower, usually fifteen minutes long, the window fogs, and that is the low point of my day, I need to see my beautiful Bella. Afterwards, she wraps the same pink towel around her perfect body, wipes the steam off her window and moves to stand at the sink. One thing I love about her, is the confidence radiating around her. She stands in the mirror and does a minute for self-cleansing, boosting her self confidence, she tells herself how beautiful she is. I can almost hear her beautiful voice crackling over the booming of cars rushing down the busy street in front of our building.
"YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, YOU ARE A GODDESS, DO NOT LET ANY PERSON DRAG YOU DOWN BECAUSE YOU ARE AMAZING"
I could not agree more. After praising herself, she then moves on to her skincare ritual, she uses exactly fourteen different products on her beautiful face, wait, what is this she is pulling out of a Sephora shopping bag? Another product, she smiles as she stares at it. Make that fifteen products. It looks like a new moisturizer, possibly an OLAY one. Ten minutes go by of her blessing her face before she finally leaves to her room.
When she arrives in her room, I get a better view of her. The next thing in her routine, around 9:05 P.M is writing in her diary. Lucky for me, I can have a perfect view into her journal of secrets. Today's entry was especially interesting to me, she mentioned some guy, Leo, nine times, each time followed by how great he was. Wow Bella, you have a crush. Probably like the other ones I have seen you write about in the past, all turned out to be jerks, and all ended up breaking your perfect heart. You deserve an amazing man, not saying it should be me, but one day you will come to your senses. According to Bella's diary, they went on a date today, he took her to a restaurant, Lombardo's, a pizza place, exactly where I would take her on a first date, one point for Leo. Wait a second, she is saying she didn't like the food, I take that back Leo, negative points for Leo. Bella was too afraid to say anything, so when they got dessert at the crepe cart, she scarfed hers down to compensate for the missed meal. Poor beautiful Bella.
They then took a taxi back to Bella's building where Leo was, quote, "a perfect gentleman," at least Bella is happy, I am certainly not, a perfect gentleman would have noticed the eating patterns between the meal and dessert, but maybe that is just me. Maybe I am just the real perfect gentleman, wait till Bella figures it out. Anyways, this leads us to now where Bella puts on her nightly premier of Netflix, we are watching The Office as of right now. It is a real funny show, I love seeing Bella laugh, she has the cutest laugh. She lies down under her plush comforter, and smacks the buttons on her remote, trying to turn on her TV. While she does this, I reach down and grab my bag of pre-popped popcorn that I save for this time of day, I am so lucky to be able to hear the TV through the walls, she also turns it up to 100% volume, not sure why, but I am not complaining. We have finished four shows together, Friends, Greys Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, and my most favorite, Dexter. If anyone reading has watched the show, you may understand why.
Most of the time, I am paying more attention to Bella than the show. I wish it was me she thought about at night, not Leo or any other jerk who she let break her heart, but I know it isn't me and possibly never will be me. It is okay, because where we are now is just fine for me. I get to watch her, and see her being happy, I just wish I was the reason.
Bella usually falls asleep after the first episode, so that is when I actually watch the show, I really like Micheal Scott, he is very stupid, but he does make me laugh. I wonder if Bella feels the same way. The problem is, I get stuck watching the same episodes so Bella can catch up on what she missed, I don't mind though, at least I can comprehend the show the first time and get to see her reaction the next time we watch the episode.
Once her Netflix stops, this is when I get ready for bed. I do normal people things, nothing special like Bella does. I brush my teeth, and lay back down into my bed. I moved my bed so it faced Bella's apartment. When I got back to my bedroom, Bella had left her bedroom, I looked through her bathroom window but she was nowhere to be seen. Maybe she left to go to the kitchen but I doubted it, she was against eating at night. I watched off my balcony, I then saw her leaving the building, I was not sure where she was going, but there was nothing I could do now.
