Behind The Voicemails

Erica met Jordan. (Flashback 2.O)

A boy named Jordan was new to the college in which Erica studied.
He was a stout lad with handsome presence with whom one would always fall in love. Not only was he good looking but also excellent in studies. Everyone was too much fond of him.
He was ready to help anyone in time of troubles.

On the other hand, Erica always kept quiet. She all the time was engrosed with different thoughts which used to hurt her a lot.
Moreover she was missing Ayden who had gone for a concert and would come back a week later. She used to text him but his reply came hours later. He even didn't have time to pick up her call.
She could feel now that her mother was correct.

One day due to some reason the college gave over earlier. So Erica decided to go to the library and spend some time by reading books.

She was walking carelessly.
She didn't notice that Jordan was also there in the library. She got stumbled while entering and was about to fall when Jordan came running to save her.

She was into Jordan's arms which pressed her tightly with utmost care.
For few moments it seemed as if the time got stuck just to stare at their love.

"Are you okay?" asked Jordan.

"Oh yes I am fine, thankyou for your help", replied Erica.

"Mention not!.."
"Well what were you thinking so deeply? Do you know you could have hurt yourself due to your carelessness?"..Jordan asked in a concerning manner.

Erica in a melancholy mood answered, "I am really sorry. From the next time I will be careful."

"I see you hardly talking in the class. You look depressed all the time as if some thoughts are killing you from inside. You can share your pain with me, maybe I can be a help to you!" exclaimed Jordan.

His bold voice and presence made her feel good. She could see a ray of hope and support by her side. Slowly their conversation started.

They had many similarities between them. Both had the same dream and ambition of becoming a research scholar.

"You seem quite tensed up. Come lets go and have some coffee. You will feel much relaxed." said Jordan.

"Thanks, but I am not feeling good. I wanna go home." replied Erica.

"No no, I won't take much of your time. I will drop you till your home." saying he pulled her to his car.

Jordan put on the music button of the car. It played a soothing romantic song which touched Erica's heart. She could feel all the lonliness that she was surrounded with and painfully held her tears back.

They reached the cafe and odered for cappuccino.

While bringing the tray, a guy got dashed with the waiter and the cappuccino fell over Erica's beautiful dress.
Jordan at once managed to get some tissues and tried to weep off the stain from her dress.

She didn't understand why!!...but yes his beautiful touch made her feel so lovely that her inner joy had no bounds.
She started to have a different kind of emotions and feelings towards him.
