Tapping her shoe anxiously, Yuna bit her lower lip, her eyes traveling to her watch from time to time. Her father was undergoing a heart transplant surgery and as promised Renjun paid for it, he was sitting beside her.
She buried her petite face in her hands, let out a shaky breath, her mind unconsciously showing her the worst ever images, she shivered at her own thoughts. She felt Renjun wrapping his arm around her shoulder, lightly pulling her into his chest, "He is gonna be fine." He muttered.
"I hope so." Yuna said. The surgery had been going on since a long time, she felt as if it was taking ages. A stray tear slipped out of her eye thinking about the result of the surgery. Yuna quickly wiped it off and sat straight, she tried to smile brightly but Renjun could see the anxiousness behind it.
"Once he is a-alright! Let's have a dinner at my house." She stuttered in the middle of her sentence, her smile wavered a little. Renjun ruffled her hair, "Come on why are you so worried? Where did the optimistic Yuna go?" Yuna sighed and settled her messy hair. "I don't know, probably dead."
"Okay okay sorry!" She quickly said once Renjun gave her his signature glare. "You are still scary." She mumbled but he heard it anyway and gave her another glare, "I am not scary."
"Let me go find you a mirror."
"Shut up."
Yuna grinned, annoying the boy gave her a satisfyingly feeling, she pinched his cheek. "He will be alright." She spoke with much more enthusiasm, the optimistic Yuna was back making Renjun smile.
Their attention was diverted to the head surgeon coming out of the operation room, he took off his mask. Yuna practically jumped up from her seat and went to ask, "How did the surgery go? Is he healthy again? How is he feeling?" She bombarded him with questions.
"The surgery was a success and yes he is healthy now, he will wake up in a few hours or so." The docter smiled at the girl, Yuna let out a long sigh of relief, putting her hand on her chest to calm her racing heart. Renjun placed his hand on her shoulder, "Thank you sir." He thanked the doctor, he too felt as if a huge boulder of worry was lifted off of him.
"I told you he will be fine." Renjun turned to Yuna who was still calming herself, Yuna simply nodded, tears of happiness fell on her cheeks as she hugged the boy. Renjun rested his chin on her head, rubbing circles at her back. "I am so glad." She muttered while sniffing softly. "I am glad too." He replied.
Her father slowly regained conscious after six hours, Yuna couldn't be any more happier seeing her Dad's joyful face again. The two of them stayed there the whole day.
Yuna had made a mental note on preparing a grand feast in celebration of her father's recovery, the doctors said that he will stay in the hospital for a few days so she already started preparing for it, she wanted it to be perfect.
Seeing Renjun get along well with her Dad made her feel as if they were all complete. Her father accepted Renjun like he was a family member. She smiled thinking that the dining table placed in her lounge would need a third chair since the last time Yuna had to drag a small stole to sit.
Everything was finally going in the right direction, her Dad was feeling better, she wouldn't need to do many part-time jobs, she could now easily focus on her studies and most importantly Renjun had entered in her life and she knew quite well that he won't leave.
The flower gleefully danced and swayed by the wind along with another flower much bigger in size, the butterfly fluttered it's wings, staying near it's two favourite flowers in a huge field.
