Izuku's Pov

Hello! My name's Izuku Midoriya, and I just turned four years old! My fourth birthday is so special because it's the day I go see if I have a quirk!

I heard my mom tell for me from the down the stairs, I yelled that i was coming that way she knew I was up. I hopped if my bed practically skipping to my closet due to excitement. I grabbed my clothes and darted towards the bathroom.

I was now wearing a mint green t-shirt along with shorts. No I didn't even try with my hair, it's to messy. I did brush and floss my teeth thought! Mommy always says it's important to brush and floss my teeth so they will stay healthy!

  I walked down the stairs with a little bounce in my step. As my mother came in to view I ran and hugged her. She said hello with the sweetest smile. I looked up at her and asked when we where going. Mommy gave a giggle and said something along the lines of  "after you finish your breakfast." I didn't get to here it all because by the time I heard, "After our eat your breakfast"I was already gobbling up my pancakes.

   After I finished my pancakes, I hopped in the car. I obviously buckled up, because I'm a good kid!(Buckle up kids) Mommy put the keys in the key spotty thing and started the engine. We pulled out of the driveway and down the road. I watched out my windows as all the buildings were looming over the car. It was quite scary if I do say so myself.

Timeskip- at the hospital

Me and my mom entered the building, me infront a little. I went ahead and meet my mom over at the receptionist desk. As she was signing the papers, I saw another little boy around my age. He had half red and half white hair. To be honest he reminded me of my favorite candy, a peppermint. He also had these really cool eyes! One was like a tealish color while the other was like a Brownish grey! His father and mother looked nice enough. WAIT!!! That's the number 2 hero Endeavor!!!(bare with me on this good Endeavor, izuku's a hero lover and doesn't know about how bad Endeavor is,so please bare with it for now.) Sir Endeavor took his lovely wife outside to have a talk I think, so while they were outside I decided to go talk to the boy. As I marched myself proudly towards the boy hoping to be friends he glanced at me. I now stood infront of him, hand outstretched. I tried to be as nice as possible, I introduced myself. Hello my name's is Izuku Midoriya, what's your name. After a couple of seconds the boy hesitantly took my hand as he Introduced himself. "Hello Midoriya,my name is Shoto Todoroki. Its a pleasure to meet you to." At that I was overjoyed! I started jumping around, him looking a bit confused before I turned back to him. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MY FRIEND!? I asked with probably to much excitement, oh well. A small smile brought its way into his lips, shaking his head yes. That small smile didn't last as his eyes laced over with a cold glare as his father stepped through the door. He sent me a apologetic look before slightly pushing me towards my mother who was now sitting in a chair a couple of feet away. I didn't really understand at the time, opp wrong age. I kinda just shrugged it off, why you may be asking. Well I was called into the room.
Once me and mommy entered the room she was instructed to sit on a chair while I had to sit on that weird thing they have in hospitals. After a couple of minutes the doctor finally came by. He drawled a little bit of my blood, took my temp., And a lot more. After a few more tests the doctor left to check the results.

  10 minutes later

   After about 10mins. The doctor came back with a clipboard and pen. I was jumping with excitement! What's my quirk!?

  I don't know how to tell this kid that he doesn't have a quirk but a mutation. I looked down at the results in my hand and started coming up with outcomes. He could cry, be happy, angry, and even surprised. I came up with the best way to explain this to a kid. I said "Izuku does not have a quirk, but he does have a Neko mutation." The kid seemed... confused.

I was sitting there impatiently waiting for the doctor to give me my answer when he said " Izuku does not have a quirk, but he does have a neko mutation." That confuzzled me because I don't know what a mutation is. He did say something about a Neko. What's a Neko? I looked up at the doctor and asked him what a mutation was. He said a mutation is where when you hit age 5 you will grow ears and a tail with the extra senses of that animal. That sounds so cool!

My next question was what a Neko was since im a Neko mutation. The doctor told me that a Neko mutation was were when I am age 5 the ears, tail, and senses will be that of a cats.

  I smiled the biggest smile I could pull off. This Neko mutation thing did not seem that bad.

   Me and my mom left the doctor's office and we just arrived home. I unlocked the door and ran up to my room to draw in my notebook of what I hope I look like.

  1 hour later

  "Zuzu foods done!" Zuzu is the nickname my mom gave me. I stopped doing what I was doing to go down and eat dinner. My mom asked me how I feel being a Neko mutation. My only answer was this is going to be great.

I laid down in my bed thinking being a Neko is going to be the best thing that's ever happened to me!
