New. I word I knew all too well, new school, new, friends, new town, new house, new life. It was the first day of my new school, and everyone already had friends but not I, as I was alone. I hid in the bathroom during my free blocks, it was the only place I could hide. Today, four girls entered quickly in some sort of rush. They seemed sad, but two giggled as they quietly conversed.

"do you think anyone heard us?" one girl whispered, "I don't want anyone to know!"

A deep voice engulfed to room "can its newbie! You don't want to end up like jess."

I put my feet up and I was too intrigued to move I wonder what they could possibly be hiding. Suddenly, one of my feet fell to the ground and made a large boom. The whispering stopped and footsteps creaked towards my stall. The door rattled before being burst open. In front of me I saw a tall girl with short black hair and a red dress on.

"we got an eve dropper!" she sarcastically said to the girls next to her, "what are you doing here goat."

I stuttered... looking at the girl I was intimidated so I could only muster a few incompetent words, "sorry I um well, I like, well uh..."

"spit it out!" the girl seemed to grow taller and more powerful every word she spoke, "alright if you won't talk then I have another option..."

I saw a metallic reflection in the mirror behind one of the girls, it was blinding, and I started to feel butterflies in my stomach, chills stretched across my arms and twinkled up my back.

"I was just ea-eating lunch and then you came in... and I'm sorry" I apologized although, considering the circumstances, I did nothing wrong. The girl just laughed and looked at the three behind her quickly chimed in.

"oh, sure you were..." she smirked, "... creep. Either you leave right now, or my other plans will be put in action." She turned to another girl. This girl had long braided blond hair and she fumbled around like a newborn giraffe. Soon enough from behind her back she pulled a silver object before I realized what it was the tall girl took it and pointed it into my face. My pulse doubled and before I knew it... black.

Beep Beep Beep. My head felt like it weighed a few hundred pounds. My eyes ripped open and as I looked around, I saw a heart monitor and to my surprise, a few girls, they looked familiar but I couldn't quite remember them. Once I had awoken the girls scurried over as if some sort of mob.

"what are you guys doing here" I didn't remember their faces but they look... like I knew them already, "come to gloat? I assume you're from my school?"

One girl laughed and turned to the others, "she doesn't remember at all!"

I squinted, still trying to make out their faces "remember what?"

A tall girl with short black hair turned to me, "oh noting... just that were you best friends! And were supposed to have a sleepover tomorrow tonight! Still up for it?"

I didn't remember anything so anything could be real... or fake, "oh sure of course... I don't mean to be rude but what's your name?"

The girls whispered "Rocky, don't do this..."

"who's Rocky?" she smiled and turned back to me, "hi... I'm Emily. nice to meet you."

"um hi. I'm Julia. nice to re-meet you too...."
