As Diggle and Roy took turns holding Felicity, a flash of red past into the apartment room.
"Oh Felicity, I'm so sorry. I just heard about Oliver". Barry said as he ran to hug her.
Diggle and Roy excused themselves as Barry held Felicity.
"Why, why didn't you tell me what happened?" Barry asked Felicity as she clung to him with all the strength she had left.
"I didn't... I didn't know what to do...." Felicity sniffled into his shirt.
"Hey, it's ok. He will be ok" Barry said as he hugged her tighter and started to massage her back.
They stayed in silence until felicity started to mumble quietly...
"Felicity? What are you saying" Barry asked.
She lifted her head from his chest and said "I never told him I loved him". She started to chock on her sobs and Barry pulled her into a hug again.
"Shush" Barry soothed her "You didn't have to tell him, he knows you love him".
Barry noticed Felicity had fallen asleep in his arms so he picked her up and set her gently on her bed.
He tucked her in bed and turned of her lights.
She started to whimper and clutch her sheets until Barry got into the bed with her and spent the night soothing her.

She awoke to an empty bed but a delicious smell from the kitchen. Barry popped his head in her room and said "hey love get dressed I made breakfast for you".
Suddenly the smoke alarm went off and Barry ran to fix it. Felicity rolled her eyes as she got dressed in a mini skirt and pretty blouse. She hadn't been to work in a while. These last two months she's been in and out. Ray had been very understanding but he was still confused about her unhappy behavior. He just wanted to make her happy.
Felicity walked to her kitchen and ate her eggs and pancakes quietly. Barry knew she wanted to be alone so he kissed the top of her forehead as she cringed and whimpered thinking of how Oliver had done the same.
Barry whispered in her ear "it's going to be ok love, he is alive and just being Oliver we will find him."
Felicity nodded her head as Barry left in a flash.
Felicity pulled herself together and went to work. It was time she stopped suffering for someone who might not come back.
