He opened his door and closed it behind him.
"Ugh. I hate him so much." Nathaniel Said, cursing at his dad under his breath.
"I guess I better take a bath, maybe that will cool me off." He sighed. He walked into the bathroom connected to his bedroom. Beginning to take his cape off, unclipping the small diamond that held his cape up. He took it and pushed on it, hearing a small clicking noise. It opened to reveal a picture of his mom and his dad, with Nathaniel in the middle. Only the wealthiest families could afford pictures taken, so this was held dear to him. He closed the small diamond locket and placed it on a nearby chair. He took off his white button up and black tight pants. He took his crown off, placing it at the edge of the tub and stepping inside. The water was warm and it felt relaxing.
"Ah. This is much better." Nathaniel sighed and sunk further into the water. He fell asleep after awhile.

Being awaken suddenly by a knocking on the door.
"Prince?" It sounded like a guard.
"U-uh. Yes?" He answered, trying his best to sound awake.
"You have a visitor." He said.
"A visitor? Um who is it?" He asked.
"Somebody from the village. He said his name is Shen Farrel." He replied.
"Oh, that's the man I saw today in the alley way. Uh, I'll be there in a minute." Nathaniel said. The guard left quickly. Nathaniel got out of the bath and dried off. Placing a soft lacy shirt and pants. He walked out of the door.
"What time is it, Bren?" Nathaniel asked one of the guards. He memorized their names as they were the two that always guarded his room.
"Past midnight." He replied.
"Ugh. What does that man want this late at night?" Nathaniel mumbled and walked down the hallway with the guards escorting him.
"It's very cold in here." Nathaniel sneezed, and then started shivering. Suddenly a lady was following them, a maid had a blanket. It was very warm.
"Oh, thank you very much." Nathaniel said and smiled at her.
She nodded and ran off. They reached the front entrance and walked up to the gates.
Shen was waiting there.
"Why are you here?" Nathaniel asked from behind the gate.
"You dropped this back there." He said and handed Nathaniel one of his rings. It was a gift from another Kingdom after his mother died.
"Oh, thank you. I'm surprised you didn't steal this. This would've been worth alot." Nathaniel said.
"Eh. Not like I need to." He shrugged. He looked cold, his nose was red and he was shaking.
"Are you cold?" Nathaniel asked.
"Yeah. I'll get used to it." He sighed.
"Oh, I would ,et you inside but my father would behead me. Would you like a blanket?" He asked.
"Uh... that would be nice." Shen mumbled. He didn't seem used to genourosity.
"Hey, Han. Please get me another blanket from inside." Nathaniel asked.
"Just tell my father it's from me if he asks." He said. The guard nodded and ran off. Quickly coming back with another warm blanket. Nathaniel handed him the blanket.
"Thanks kid." Shen looked away and took it.
"Your welcome. Thank you for returning this again." Nathaniel said.
"Don't sweat it. Just be careful next time, not everyone would've returned it." Shen warned.
"Yeah. Well have a good night." Nathaniel smiled and walked away. They entered inside the castle again.
"Phew. Are you two guarding for the night?" Nathaniel asked.
"We are, actually." Bren said.
"Good. I don't want the two I got last time." Nathaniel said.
"Your very generous, prince." Bren smiled.
"Eh, it's only because I'm tired." He yawned as they reached his room.
"Need any help?" One of them asked.
"No no. I got it." Nathaniel said and walked into his room. Falling face first on his bed and immediately falling asleep.
