Jihye POV
"Daddy! Look what i have done!" I beamed happily while running to father's table side.
"Oh, what is it sweetie?" He said as he took my drawing.
A drawing of a girl with a knife down her throat.
"Oh! Dear this is a master piece!"
"Ugh, stop complimenting that messed up kid. Where did she even learn these kind of things?"
"I saw daddy do it once! I wanna be like daddy!" I exclaimed happily.
"Ugh! I am sick of this! I'm taking Jihye away from you, you psycho." Mom said and grabbed my hand.
"You are not taking her away from me!" Dad yelled and carried me.
"This is for her own good! If she stays here any longer, she'll end up a psycho, just like her father."
"Mom! Dad! Please stop fighting!"
"Stay out of this Jihye, go to your room."
"But da-"
"GOD DAMMIT KID JUST GO TO YOUR FUCKING ROOM!"
I gasped as tears started to fill my eyes. I sniffed and ran to my room, locking the door and sliding down on it. Making me sit down on the cold floor as i cried.
I could still hear Mom and Dad's argument downstairs. They always fight when things get to this topic.
"YOU ARE NOT TAKING JIHYE FROM ME!!!" I heard dad yell.
"ITS FOR HER OWN GOOD! SHE IS NOT SAFE WITH YOU!" Mom yelled back.
"SHE IS MY KID! SHE IS STAYING WITH ME!"
"I DON'T CARE IF I AM NOT HER BIOLOGICAL MOTHER! I AM TAKING HER!"
"Oh no you wont..."
*gun fires*
My eyes widen as i heard the sound of a gun blow. Echoing through the whole house.
It was so loud i'm sure the neighbors heard.
I quickly run downstairs and saw mom's cold body lying on the floor.
Tears uncontrollably fall from my eyes as i slowly fall to the ground.
"D-dad... m-mom.... s-she.... why...." I stuttered.
Dad slowly approached me. He crouched down to my level and held onto my face, wiping my tears away.
"Okay sweetie... Its just the two of us now, Jihye and dad. Okay?" He stated as he caressed my cheeks.
"D-dad... who is my r-real m-mom?" I find the courage to ask.
He sighed and stood up, walking to his table and coming back holding a piece of paper.
