Ella's POVI am really starting to question if I am actually, as Blake would have said, "a few French fries short for a happy meal?"
And, FYI, Blake is my older brother. He has lived 3 years more than me! And I love those 3 years because I wasn't facing the torture of living with the Ever-Witty Blake Bloomwood or the torture of living in general.
I don't understand WHAT WAS I THINKING NOT OPENING THE DOOR?!?
Okay. As soon as I opened the door, I was met with a very angry woman I call Mother. My mother was banging the door for the last 15 minutes, not Gabriel!
And get this, I AM NOT RELIEVED! Right now, I actually wish Gabriel was there banging the door and not my Mother.
"ELLA! I'VE STANDING HERE for 15 MINUTES! DID YOU THINK THE DOOR WOULD OPEN ITSELF," my mother, Sarah, screamed at me, keeping the bag of groceries that she bought aside.
And I could swear I heard crows and pigeons flying off our house roof.
"I am so sorry mama! I thought Asher would open the door because he was downstairs," I lied through my teeth.
"She's lying, mom! She's been continuously parading up and down the stairs for the last 20 minutes! She did not open the door purposely!" he yelled, adding fuel to the already raging fire.
"Shut up!" mum and I yelled at him at the same time.
I was surprised by her reaction because she usually would take Asher's side, but I guess it is my lucky day! Haha not!
"But I really am sorry mom," I said as I turned to face her. "I thought it was someone else."
She gave me a curious look but did not say anything so I guessed she was okay now.
She is okay but the situation I'll have to face in school won't be. Pshaw.
After that, I went to my room to complete my homework, which I couldn't complete in the library because of some unusual and unfortunate turn of events. But you know what I did? Yes! Procrastinated! I procrastinated like I was getting paid for it. I scrolled through my Instagram, ate chocolates, just laid there, thought about sleeping- basically I did everything I shouldn't have.
Just because I am an A-grade student doesn't mean I study willingly- which is the reason why I don't get an A-grade in Maths. It needs practice and I don't.
Pffft I am sleepy...

I woke up after 2 hours to the sound of my ringtone blaring out of my phone's speaker.
I picked up the phone and put it on speaker- my head still on the pillow because I am a lazy ass.
"Hey," I said hoping it wasn't an unknown number because I didn't see it before accepting the call.
"WHERE WERE YOU?" I heard Will shout from the other side of the phone. What happened now? Why is everyone shouting at me today?
"Why are you shouting? I am where I am supposed to be- at home," I replied in a duh tone. Now the thing with Will is that he tends to overreact a lot. And he is loud- extremely loud at times.
"No, you were supposed to meet me at the Coffee House about an hour ago," It's 5 already?!?
"No, idiot, it is 6 now," he half-shouted at me through the phone. Thank the dear Lord it's on speaker otherwise I would've gone deaf by now.
"God, Will, I am really sorry I forgot. I forgot we had to study together," I apologized sincerely. "I'll be there in 15 minutes, I promise."
"Okay, but if you're not here in 15 I'll leave," he threatened me and then hung up.
