Kris ended up falling in his sleep. He had a sense of fear, he had a fake fall in his sleep, but ended up rolling over onto the floor and hit his head on the floor and bent his left middle finger the wrong way in an act to stop his fall, to which he let out a pained yell.

He saw a light turn on upstairs, and Noelle came running down.

"Noelle?" Kris asked groggily.

"Kris..? Why are you on the floor? And why were you screaming?" She asked, also half asleep.

He tried getting up but stumbled over his own feet and fell onto the end table where he kept his phone, so he propped himself against a wall. His vision got distorted and static and feedback was what filled his mind.

"Are you alright Kris?" She knelt by him and put her hand on his forehead.

"Noelle, I'm fine, I just had one of those dreams where it pulls a fake fall on you and then I fell on the floor, hit my head, and bent my middle finger, which ended up disorienting me, thus leading us to where we are now."

Noelle looked at Kris with a concerned look.

"I just hope you'll be okay."
They looked at the clock on the end table, the time had read 5:59 AM.

"Well I guess we're up early." Noelle as she sat up and walked to Kris' location. She looked down at him.

Kris tried to move himself up to the couch, and did so, his vision still a tad disoriented.

"Woof.. that hurt like hell." He groaned in anguish.

"Kris, are you seriously alright? You seem like you're hurt. A lot." She held his hand, "I can get you an ice pack if you need it."

"Noelle I'm fine, I just bent my finger. I broke my rib playing baseball in seventh, I've felt more pain. I've also cut my Achilles' tendon on accident. That is the most pain you can feel outside of birthing. Well, not that I'd know anything about it. Sure hope in the future I don't get anyone pregnant. But yeah, still hurts to this day."
"Well here, you go back to bed and-"

"Noelle, I'm fine, I don't need that much sleep, I'm fine. Now, do you want to play on the switch?"

"Well let's eat breakfast first, and then we'll play on the switch."

"I'm not hungry though."

"Kris you're making me think you're not that health conscious of a person."

"Noelle, you don't have to worry about me, I'm fine on my own."

"Kris you're just.. how would I say this.. not really that smart of a person outside of school."

"Like a jackass, I know. You don't have to tell me that I already know-"

"Kris it's just that you really concern me with how you act and make decisions."

"Well.. thanks for being concerned, please reconsider on your choice on who. I really don't matter to that many people, who would even like a jackass kid like me?"

"Kris!" She put her hands on his shoulders and shook him vigorously. "Do you even know what you're saying?! Think of your mother and your father, Susie too! Lots of people love, like, and care for you, think of me!"
