I walked in as Dean's mouth dropped
open.
"Cate, what the hell did you do to your hair?!" He yelled, as I grabbed a piece of it.
"Oh, I just dyed it, you know." I said smirked, pushing my now blue highlighted hair behind my back. Sam walked in, his eyes widened in surprise.
"Why is your hair blue?" Sam asked, looking over at Dean. They looked at me, as I smiled. Suddenly, the door slammed open, a demon running in. I grabbed the knife from Dean's hand, stabbing the demon in the chest. Orange glowed in the demons body, as it fell to the ground. I sighed, looking over at Sam and Dean.
"You need to learn to lock the damn door." I muttered, closing the door.
"By the way, it's not permanent." I said, walking away, smiling. I heard their sighs of relief as I walked into the bedroom. I sat on the edge of my bed, glancing at my reflection in the mirror. I watched as my eyes quickly turned from black, back to green. I didn't have the guts to tell them that I was a demon. I was still me but, now I was a demon. I sighed, thankful that we scratched the devils trap so that Crowley could leave the other day. It was getting harder to hide being a demon when the boys put devils traps, salt and holy water everywhere. I looked down at the ground, getting up and walking over to the boys. I carefully watched where I walked as I sat next to Sam and Dean. They looked at me oddly, as silence filled the room.
"What?" I asked, as they just stared at me.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked as it was my turn to look at him oddly.
"Um, yeah, I'm fine, why are you asking?" I responded, as they looked at each other then back at me.
"You look shaken up." Dean said, as I played with my fingers.
"Don't worry me." I said, forcing a smile on my face. Dean didn't look satisfied as he looked at Sam.
"That's our job to worry about you." Sam said as I smiled.
"She's hiding something." Crowley appeared, as we turned to face him.
"Hello boys." He said, glancing over at me.
"We can't trust you." Sam said, holding an arm in front of me. Fear ran through me, knowing that Crowley knew my secret.
"You don't need to trust me to believe me." Crowley said, popping up behind me. He grabbed me, as the boys turned around.
"Let go Crowley!" I yelled, struggling to get out of his grip.
"Crowley, let her go." Dean growled, as Crowley pushed me into Sam.
"She's not who you think she is." Crowley said, as they all looked at me.
"Don't listen to him, he's the king of hell for crying out loud!" I said, lying through my teeth. Suddenly, I was sent flying back, landing directly on a devils trap.
"Shit." I muttered, getting up. Tears welled up in my eyes as I felt my legs give in. I fail to the ground, Dean running over to me.
"Have fun." With that, Crowley disappeared. Dean helped me up, as I quickly pushed him away from me.
"Dean, I got it." I said, not moving an inch. I tried moving, Dean catching me before I fall.
"Easy Cate." He said, leading me from the trap. I closed my eyes as the trap bounced me from the edge.
"Cate, c'mon." Dean said as once again, it blocked me from getting out. Dean let me go, stepping back.
"No." Dean said as I fell to the ground.
"I'm sorry." I whispered, tears streamed down my face.
"How long, have you been like this?" Dean asked as I looked up at them.
"About 3 weeks now." I said as Sam looked at Dean.
"And you were planning to tell us when?" Dean asked as I sighed.
"I wasn't." I said, quietly. Dean threw a knife at the table, looking at me.
"If I told you I was a demon, you would have killed me. You're probably gonna kill me now anyway." I said, muttering the last part. Dean looked at Sam, grabbing a knife. He scratched some of the trap away, as Sam helped me to the couch. I curled up into a ball, pulling my knees to my chest.
"Cate, just tell us what happened." Sam said, as they sat on each side of me. I toke a deep breath, looking forward.
"I was going on a hunt with my brother, James and, it didn't go as we planned."
~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~
"C'mon Cate, let's go eat something, you look like a freaken twig!" James yelled, grabbing my hand. I chuckled, following him into the cafe. We got into a booth, as I toke out my laptop.
"So, we've identified it as a demon, right?" I asked as he nodded.
"It's after something, I know it." He said, as we ordered our food.
"Tonight, we catch the bastard." He said, holding up his drink. I smiled, holding up mine as well. Part of me was nervous though, going against this demon, just the two of us.
"Umm, shouldn't we call Dean and Sam to help us?" I asked as he just glared at me.
"We'll be just fine without them Catlyn." He growled, eating his burger. I sighed, knowing that he was never fond of the Winchesters. I picked at my French fries, as James glanced up at me. He sighed, holding my hand.
"If we can't handle the situation, them we'll call them, ok?" He said as I nodded, feeling a bit better. We paid for the food, leaving the money on the table. We got into my red truck, as James tried to change the station. I slapped his hand away from the radio, as he stuck his tongue at me.
"Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole." I said as he just smiled dorkly at me. I laughed, arriving at the warehouse. I toke a deep breath, looking at my older brother.
"You ready sis?" James asked me as I nodded. We jumped out of the truck, holding our weapons in hand. I pocketed my holy water, following James to the back entrance. James looked at me, nodding his head. I nodded back, as he kissed my forehead.
"I'm not four James." I complained, as he smiled.
"I know." With that, we barged into the room, the battle began:
~~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~
Dean and Sam sat there, looking at me.
"You're brother really loves you." Sam said as I looked at the ground.
"Loved." I corrected, closing my eyes
~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~
"James!" I yelled, as the demon pinned me down, my blade across the floor. I closed my eyes, the weight lifted from me. I opened my eyes to James, helping me to my feet.
"You okay?" He asked me as I nodded, a bit shaken up. He smiled when suddenly my world shattered. I watched as the pieces of my world fell to the ground. If like in slow motion, I felt my senses disappear. I caught him before he fell to the ground, blood drenched in his shirt.
"JAMES!!" I screamed, sobbing on his shirt. I looked up at his face, his eyes beginning to close.
" No, no, no, no, James, stay with me, stay with me god dammit!" I yelled, listening to the sounds of the other demons. Anger raged through me as I stood up.
"C'mon, let's go!" I yelled, demons charging at me in different directions. I killed them all, digging the knife into their meat suits. I finished, listening to raged breaths.
"James." I said, running over to him. I held him in my lap, rocking him a bit. He held my hand, coughing up a storm.
"C-Cate, call Dean and Sam, they'll take care of you." He whispered, laying his head on my chest.
"Please, please don't die, I need you. Your all I have." I cried, hugging him tightly. He weakly smiled, kissing my cheek.
" I love you, Cate." He said, his eyes closed shut. I bursted into tears, holding my older brother in my small arms. I grabbed my cell phone from my pocket, as it slightly shook in my hands. I dialled in a number, sniffling as I pressed the phone to my ear. I toke a few shaky breaths.
"D-d-Dean, S-Sam, I need you."
~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~
"That's why you called us." Dean said as I nodded.
"That's also why I left when I asked you to burn their bodies." I added, as I slowly laid on the couch.
"How I became a demon required you to know what happened to him."
~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~
I walked through the alleyway, kicking the cans to the side. I stopped, looking up to a familiar face as I dropped my dagger.
"James?" I asked, my tone filled with surprise. He smiled, as his eyes turned black.
"No...." I said, backing up slowly.
"Don't be afraid sis." He said, my vision turning black. I suddenly woke up, in a dark room. I looked around, my eyes landing on demon James. He smirked, walking over to me.
"It's fun to torcher you with your brothers body." He said, chucking evily.
"Leave his body alone bitch." I growled, as he snickered.
"Or what Catlyn?" He asked as I sighed.
"What do you want?" I asked as he smiled.
"I want to make a demon out of you." He said, pressing his finger on my forehead. I screamed, falling to the ground. My vision changed as I looked at him.
"What the hell did you do to me!?" I yelled as he smirked.
"Your part demon now, enjoy." He said, laughing. I opened my eyes, back in the alleyway
~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~
"So, a demon that was dressed in your brothers body, turned you part demon?" Dean asked as I nodded.
"I don't want to live like this, James wouldn't have wanted his little sister to be part demon." I said, picking up the demon knife.
"Dean, please, end this." I begged, add Sam's eyes widened.
"No, Dean, don't." Sam said as Dean looked back at Sam. He looked at me, dropping the knife and hugging me.
"Cate, I love you too much to go and just kill you like that." Dean said as I shook my head.
"How could you love me?! I'm a monster Dean, I could kill someone." I cried, backing up. I reached down, grabbing the knife.
"If you won't, I will." I said, aiming it towards myself. Dean ran over, pulling me into a deep kiss. I froze, dropping the knife. I kissed him back, smiling. I backed up, shaking my head.
"This is worse than being a vengeful spirit Dean, I-I don't want to hurt you or Sam. If I did I would hate myself." I said, tears welled up in my bright green eyes.
"You wouldn't hurt a fly Cate, there is no way you'd hurt one of us." Sam said as I sighed.
"You don't know that Sam. I have so much built up anger and, I could brake on of these times and, I just can't imagine that." I yelled, running my fingers through my hair. Dean toke my hand, looking into my eyes.
"Use the anger to your advantage Cate, it'll help you when you kill the son of a bitches." He said, his voice dropped to a low whisper. I smirked, nodding my head.
"Okay, but that means that I can't go near you guys when you're dealing with a demon." I said as they nodded, agreeing.
"Hello boys." Crowley appeared, as I glared at him.
"And demon." He said as I made my way towards him in a fast walk. Dean grabbed my arm, as I looked at him.
"Cate." He said as I sighed.
"I'm surprised she's not dead, yet." Crowley said, holding a glass of scotch. I rolled my eyes, my arm still in deans grip.
"What do you want Crowley?" Dean asked as Crowley looked at him the at me.
"Her." Crowley said as two other demons appeared. One pushed Dean across the room, as he hit the wall.
"Dean!" I screamed, as sam grabbed me, holding me against his chest. I closed my eyes, quickly praying to Cas in my head with my whole heart. Suddenly, I opened my eyes, I was still in sam's but the demons were gone and sam, Dean and I were in a different room. The sound of wings brought a smile to my face.
"Cate." Cas said as I smiled sadly.
"Hey, you probably already know." I said as he nodded. I looked over at Dean, running over to him.
"Dean, you alright?" I asked as he groaned getting up.
"That hurt." He said as I smiled. I hugged him, as he wrapped his arms around me.
"You didn't get hurt right?" Dean asked as I shook my head.
"I'm fine Dean, I prayed hard enough to get Cas' attention." I said as he looked over at Cas.
"Hello Dean, sam." Cas said as they smiled back. I got dizzy, kneeling to the ground.
"Crap." Dean said, grabbing a hold of me. I knew what I needed as I looked up at Dean.
"I-I-I have to go." I said, backing up. I ran away, listening to his footsteps that followed behind me. I felt sam's huge arms, picking me up by my waist, putting my on his shoulder.
"Please put me down." I said, as he walked with me near a Devils trap.
"Sam, put me down!! Sam? Sam?! SAM!!!." I screamed, pounding my fists on his back. Tears streamed down my cheeks as he put me down, backing out of the trap.
"Where were you going?" Dean asked as I turned my back to them.
"I'm not telling you." I said, folding my arms across my chest. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms snake around my wait, hot breath sending chills down my spine.
"Your so stubborn, you know that?" Dean whispered as I rolled my eyes.
"I've been informed." I said as he let go of me, walking out of the trap, as I ran after for him. He stood at the very edge, so I couldn't touch him. I groaned, sighing.
"I went to grab.....something." I said as Cas looked at me intently.
"Blood." Cas said as they looked at him.
"She went to get demon blood to get stronger, like Sam." Cas said as they looked at my. My hands shook, aching for the blood.
"Let me out, please, just a little bit please."
"No! We're not gonna let you become like sammy, your staying in here." Dean said, making my emotions hit the walls.
"Let me go NOW!" I yelled, pounding my foot at the ground. They just stood there, not giving in.
"I can't stay here forever, you know that." I said, pounding on the invisible force.
"No, but we can for now." Sam said as I looked at Cas.
"They're right." Cas said I fell to the ground. My body starting shaking as power randomly went through me. I closed my eyes, wrapping my arms around my stomach. I went down on my knees, anger filling my system.
" NO!" I screamed, breaking the trap with my outburst. I looked up at them, backing up.
"Cate, you need to relax." Sam said as I stayed silent. Voices repeating in my head. Kill them, kill them all they said. I shook my head, holding onto my head.
"No, no, no, no!" I repeated, as I watched Dean slowly approach me. I stopped, as the voices got louder.
"Dean, stay back, please." I begged, as he continued coming towards me. I looked down at his hand, the demon knife gripped in his hand. I looked at t him, taking a step forward.
"Please, do it." I whispered, as he finally stood in front of me. He began saying something I couldn't understand add my body began to shake, add I fell to the ground. Then, I watched as the knife went into my arm, as I held back a scream. I closed my eyes, clenching my fist tightly. The pain stopped, as I looked up at him. I couldn't feel any anger as I smiled. Suddenly, he poured holy water on me, add I wiped my face. I looked at my hands, realizing that I wasn't burning.
"I-I-I'm okay." I said, standing up. I jumped on Dean, laughing.
"I'm me again!" I said as he held me tighter. I bursted into tears, my emotions bouncing around. I let him go, hitting him in the arm.
"What the hell?!" He said as I glared at him.
"You almost got your self killed stupid!" I said, sighing. I looked over at the confusing looks on Sam and Cas's faces. I walked over to them, giving them hugs.
"Thanks." I said as they smiled. I looked at them, smiling.
"Your leaving, aren't you?" Dean said as I smiled sadly.
"Sadly, yes." I said, walking up to him. I gave home a kiss, pulling him towards me. He kissed back, as I smiled. I gently pulled back, looking over at Sam. I kissed him and Cas on the cheek, walking out of the old warehouse that James died in.The! End!
