[ Karla's Cave ]Samrthia was still gripping Karla's work desk. Her lower back was pressed hard against it. Her heart was hurting in so many ways that it was, now, physically hurting her chest. Her mind was clouded with those horrific events, so horrible that her brown eyes were clouded. She couldn't hear or see anything in front of her or around her. She was stuck and stuck was not good.
When Samritha blacked out, her magic wear off. Karla had fell down, gasping and wiping her neck, the same place Samritha held a knife. She breathes deeply before getting up on shaky legs, she really didn't know of Samritha would hurt her or not. Samritha has hurt many people and she doesn't have that dark aura around her for nothing.
Karla has her back against that cave's walls, her eyes glued to Samritha. She glances away from those empty eyes and allows herself to feel bad. She probably brought unwanted memories back to the witch's mind. She had to, she had to make Samritha remember that those... heartless humans deserve to feel pain. They desvere everything that's coming their way.
A voice, a broken and confused voice rings out in the small office.
"You what," Samantha's anger filled voice is enough to snap Samritha out of her state. Her heart rate picks up faster than it already was. She turns paler, now looking like she's on the verge of death. She turns around, having to grip the desk to keep her balance, and looks into brown eyes that match her own.
"S-Samantha," she gasps out, her voice small and a whisper.
"I- Is everything she said...true?" Samantha asks, her voice strong. Samritha stares at her daughter, but she really is not. Her eyes look far from the present, back to the past. Her hands gripping that wood desk, squeezed, cracks become in the desk. "IS IT!?" Samantha screams at her mother, her fists balling in anger. Her loud voice brings Samritha back, she flinches looking into Samantha's darken eyes. Her breathing pattern becomes uneven.
"Sa-" Samantha shakes her head furiously her hair swinging left to right in the pony tail she wears. She cuts her mother off while doing so. She relaxes her hands out of the tight fists to just grip the black jogging pants Karla allowed her to wear. She looks her mother in the eyes, her eyes darken.
"Why would you do that? You should have never done that, my mother doesn't know that she was once raped?" Samantha asks, the question not meant to be answered. At the silence she gets back, she scoffs.
"I don't even give a fuck that I was once..beaten but what I do care about? Is my mother," she says, she walks up to the desk and stops right in front of it. She keeps her eyes on her mother's "You had no right to make her forget that. No right."
Samritha, still not being able to speak due to the heart break she is experiencing all over again just looks at her daughter with regretful and sorrow filled eyes. Her eyes, a lighter brown. They're filled with so much pain that even Samantha can see it, but that doesn't mean the anger she feels is just going to go away.
She gives her mother one last glare before looking at the woman who had her people bring her to their planet.
"And you had no right to bring that memory back. You say you want revenge on the humans for what they did but you're acting just like them. They blackedmailed your creator right? That's exactly what you're doing to my mother. And before you try to get your revenge on them, change your ways because for now? You're just like them." Samantha gives both adults one last look before storming out in anger. She has to find a way to reach her mother and mate, who are probably suffering right now.
Karla's mouth is agape when Samantha storms out the office. The realisation hits her with full force. Her heart stops, her eyes lower to the ground, and mostly, her pride is now gone. She thought she was going about this the right way but a few meaningful sentences from the wolf makes her know. She is no better than those humans if she forces them to join her in her battle. She is no better. She kept them against their well, just like the man did to Vallina.
Karla glances at the painting, she looks at Vallina and cries on the inside. She knows that Vallina is looking down on her with a frown or worst, a smear on her face. She knows, she has disappointed her creator. She should have went about this a better way.
She jumps out of her skin when her desk is lifted and flung across the office. It breaks into pieces when it makes compact with the cave wall. The pieces fly, one wood piece right into Samritha's pale arm but she does not flinch. She welcomes the pain. Blood drips from the womb onto the cave floor. Karla's eyes darken at the blood but she ignores the hunger, instead she focuses on the shaking witch.
"I am so sorry," Karla says, her voice soft and whisper. She flinches again when Samritha snaps her head to her and her dark brown eyes are on her.
"Fuck you," Samritha gets out, her voice hoarse.
Karla accepts that, what she just brought back was not going away with a simple sorry. It'll never go away.
