Cross is the younger brother of Killer and holds the bearer soul of Kody Fallenfire, another rare soul that survived to become the strongest wizard from the human and monsters possession to lie, even if Cross knew it was right to lie, it will still affect his trait- because of how fragile their stability is. But Cross became the strongest Integrity wizard like Kody in physical and emotional, he's in between Sci and Geno- the fouth strongest.
But Killer thought he was only get himself killed, like how Cross covered him when the blob attacked, he loved his brother so much- will also sacrificing his life to save him.
Sometimes Cross might brake when conquering a difficult situation in the past, but he will then learn from his own limits, or another emotional strength from another friend or loved ones, may help him overcome these hard challenges.

Back in the past, Nightmare had found a ritual to bring back an lost or destroyed Au, but Cross found out that it needs to have the body of that person from that Au, Cross, confident, decided to gave up on himself- but right at that moment when they were preparing, C!Chara had snuck in, and completed the ritual himself, when Cross can't feel him anymore, he found a note that left him in tears, but it also said to move on for him.
Those lining symbols on his Sword represent speed- or meaning how quickly Cross can throw an attack at the enemies before an blink of an eye.
