You helped me grow up
You raised me when mom was away
But, as I grew older,
I guess your live vanished
(Or maybe it was never there.)

You used me as a pawn
To hurt my mother
You hurt me more than you think
Now that I think about it,
You didn't really hurt her at all.
You just hurt me.

You didn't really care
That you hurt me.
As long as you hurt mom.
But let me tell you right now,
You were wrong.

You were wrong if you thought
My mother would fall for your tricks.
You were wrong if you thought
That you could hurt my mother
Using manipulation.

The only person you hurt was me.

But I hear that you're
A better father to your son now.
And that you have
A girlfriend to love.

I'm happy for you.
Really.
But always remember...
You lost something that you'll never
Ever
Get back.

You lost the opportunity
To be my father.

So I hope you're happy.
And I hope that you're proud of yourself.
Because I'm in the process
Of moving on.

I'm in the process of forgiving you.
But just know:
I will never
Ever
Forget what you have done.
