Miraculous Days are Dead (Miraculous Ladybug and Dead Rising Crossover)

Prologue

It was just an ordinary day in New York City, New York.

Where one girl and a lot of kwamis were enjoying some macaroons and instant tea after unpacking and redecorating their new apartment. Especially after leaving Paris after the whole fiasco of the school shunning her for something she didn't do when she was absent from school for helping a photographer and his two daughters for their next upcoming journal. (her parents knows about her absence and let her as long she's back home safe and sound) She tried to tell them about her not being in school, but they ended up telling her they don't believe it and leaving her. Marinette couldn't take it and decided to run away without anyone knowing. She didn't want her only two friends, Luka and Kagami to worry about her since Luka is at a tour out of town and Kagami is at fencing practice, so she left some little notes for them and tells them the whole thing and to not let anyone know and why. 'Hopefully, they'll understand.' she thought to herself. But she shook it off quickly and continues enjoying the macaroons and tea. While she and the kwamis are enjoying their snacks, they hear a knock on the door which caused all of the kwamis to quickly head over to the gramophone, Tikki gets in Marinette's mini handbag and Marinette heads over to the door and opens it to see who it is. There, she sees the people she helped in Paris. Frank West and his two daughters, Evelyn and Amberlynn West. "Mr. West?" Marinette asked in surprise. "Kid?" Frank asked as he and his daughters were surprised to see Marinette.

After a while of talking about how Marinette got here, Amberlynn had an idea. "How about you stay with us?" "Really?" "Of course. Besides, no way we're having a good friend of ours end up living by herself." Evelyn said crossing her arms. Marinette smiled and have smalls tears of joy coming out of her bluebell eyes. "Thank you."

It's been a few months since Marinette is with the Wests. One day she is with them at an interview with one of the reporters, they ask her what her name is. Marinette decided to change it and said her name is Marilyn. Frank and the girls tagged along with her idea telling them that she's part of their family and told them she was studying abroad in Paris and came back a few months later after finishing with her studies three years early. Marinette/Marilyn is already liking her new life in New York. 'I should've thought of doing this months ago.' she thought as she and her new family head to a restaurant for dinner.

Little did they know, their new adventure is just beginning.

(I know what some of you might be thinking. What would Marinette's parents think? Well, they were out busy making sweets at a dinner party out of town. And they didn't have time to know what was going on. Anyway, I hope you like the prologue. Later!-Aaliyah)
