I Kept My Promise

I don't quite recall how it started, so I'm going from the earliest I remember.

Cele made a friend on Instagram, and she loved her very much. Her name was Kait. Kait was very quiet and Cele tried everything she knew to try to get her to open up. After being friends for almost 6 months, Cele and Kait decided they wanted to be more than friends. They dated for a month, and it was the best and worst month Cele had ever experienced. Cele has happy and sad at the same time, and it felt like love. During that month, Kait made Cele talk to her friend, Arianna.

Cele liked Ari from the start. Kait would wander away and Ari and Cele would talk for hours more. Soon Cele got so sad she had to break up with Kait. Ari and Cele stayed friends because Cele loved Ari so much.

Cele had lots of friends, and a terrible memory, so she forgot a lot of what happened after that.

Lauren came into the picture. Together, Lauren, Ari, and Cele made a little place of their own where they were free to be who they really were. They could talk about anything there. The place was theirs, and only theirs.

There were a few times that Cele felt sad again and Ari and Lauren helped her. They helped Cele feel like everything would be alright. They made her feel better, feel accepted, feel loved.

Ari and Lauren put up with Cele's bullshit and random wise words and Cele loved that she had finally found people who loved her as she was.

Cele loved the two more than herself. She put them before herself. She didn't care if she was happy, as long as they were. Their well being was more important than hers.

There were times Cele felt awkward and outcasted, but Ari and Lauren made her feel welcome, normal, and she could never thank them enough.
