Chapter 7: The Fight

I woke up the next morning, got dressed in a tank top  and shorts, I brushed my hair and stuck it up in a ponytail, and walked out of my room to work on my car. An hour later everyone else was up, all talking amongst themselves. I suddenly felt hands on my hips, and smiled knowing who it was. Grabbed my rag and wiped my hands off, and turned in Dom’s arms. I stuck my hands on his chest and smiled.

“Morning Beautiful.” He said, then pecked my lips.

“Morning,” I said softly, while smiling. He pecked my lips again. We walked over to everyone else. Everything was going great, until Mia woke up. See she’s been real moody lately. I don’t know why. Usually she is extremely happy, but today she was bitchy, and she was directing it all towards me.

Mia was glaring at me and finally I got sick of it, “What’s wrong princess? Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?” I said with a slight smirk on my face.

“Shut up, Scarlett. No one want’s to hear your fucking voice.” she said. Everyone looked at her in shock. My smirk vanished, and I narrowed my eye’s at her.

“Whatever.” I said, trying to stay as calm as possible.

“Aw, what is it sweetheart? Can’t think of a comeback? Figures.” She smirks at me, with that look that said bring it.

“Nope, I’m trying not to get in a fight with you. So back off.” I said in a warning tone. I could see Dom looking at me from the corner of my eye, I could almost see that he was proud of me, but he could tell this wasn’t over yet.

“Or else what? You gonna punch me out? Accuse me of stuff that never happened?” She said. I was very close to losing it.

“Just leave her alone, Mia.” Tej said. I guess everyone could tell that I was going to lose it.

“Stay out of it.” She snapped at him, everyone was shocked on her behaviour. I wasn’t, this is how Mia was around me, she hated me.

“If you don’t shut your fucking mouth I am going to ruin that pretty face of your’s.” I said to her with a grin on my face.

“You can’t touch me. My brother will stop you. You don’t scare me.” She said.

“Figure’s you would run to your brother once you start shit, and it starts to backfire on you.” I said in a mocking tone.

“You know what, I don’t even know why you're here. You wanted to leave. So why didn’t you?” Mia asked, now starting to really get pissed.

“Had a change of heart.” I said with a smirk.

“Yeah, sure that’s what it was, you whore.” She said. That’s it, I’m punching her out.

“If anyone is the whore around here it’s you. I at least am loyal, unlike you!” I snapped.

“What’s that suppose to mean?” Brian asked. Great now he sounds pissed.

“Brian, she cheated on you. She cheated on you with Vince.” I said to him, I had a pleading look in my eye has I was thinking, ‘please believe me’.

“Not this again, Scar. Enough,seriously, just stop.” He said.

“Brian, she didn’t just cheat on you, but almost killed me, in that race that you and me did. The only reason you won was because she tampered with my car, and made me spin out of control!” I said, I was almost in tears. I haven’t cried since he told me to leave and never come back.

Brian shook his head, “I can’t believe you. You're still going on about this.” I was about to break down.

“Great, just like last time! No one believes me! Everyone believes little miss Mia, the perfect angel that ain’t so perfect.” I said, tears starting to fall from my eye’s.

“Scar just-” Dom started, but I didn’t let him finish. I ran out of there, I didn’t grab my car I just started running. I couldn’t believe it, no one believes me.

I finally stopped running, and sat down on the side on the road, I was still crying.

Dom’s P.O.V

“What the hell was that about?” I asked Mia. I couldn’t believe she kept provoking Scar. Now I am pissed right off.

“What?” Mia asked dumbfounded, and trying to be cute. She’s lucky she’s my family. She made Scar, the girl I have completely fallen for, run out of this warehouse in tears. I noticed Lexie walked off towards the bedroom’s, no idea why, but she was.

“You know what I’m talking about Mia. What’s going on? Why would do that?” I asked, becoming completely furious.

“What she was pissing me off. All that stuff she said was a lie. Dom, I would never cheat on Brian, and I would never try to hurt her.” Mia said. I would have believed her, but there was something in her tone, that told me otherwise. I was just about to respond when Lexie came back into the room and through picture’s down on the table in front of us.  I looked at them and was shocked, sure enough, one of them showed Mia and Vince making out, but the other showed her messing with Scar’s car. Everyone looked from the pictures to her. She looked nervous, not sad, just nervous. She looked at Brian, and he was utterly hurt.

“Brian, I can explain. It-” She started, but Brian cut her off, “We are done.” He said and walked off. I grabbed my keys and walked over to my car.

“Where are you going?” Rome asked.

“To find my girlfriend.” I said, then I got into my car and drove off. I hope she’s alright, I’m really worried, I can’t lose her. She is the first person that I have fallen for, since Letty.

I continued to drive till I saw her sitting on the side of the road, I pulled up to the curve just in front of her.

Scarlett’s P.O.V

A car I could easily recognize pulled up. The engine was turned off and Dom got out of the car and sat down beside me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Lexie showed us the picture’s of Mia.” Dom told me. I looked at him, I still had tears streaming down my face.

“So you believe me?” I asked.

Dome sighed, “Scar, if you would have told me the full story, and showed me, I would have believed you in the beginning.” He told me.

“I’m sorry…” I said as I started to cry harder. He pulled me onto his lap and made me look at him.

“Don’t be. This isn’t your fault.” Dom said to me, he wiped the tears from my cheeks, as I nodded my head. I layed my head on his chest.

“Hey, Scar?” Dom said.

“Yeah?” I asked.

“I love you.” Dom told me, I lifted my head and looked at him. I smiled and kissed him.

I pulled away slowly, “I love you too.” I said to him.

He pecked my lips then said, “Let’s get back home.” He said, I sighed but nodded and got into his car and he took me back to the warehouse.
