Ch 5: The past is a monster

That night, after they were done playing truth or dare, they watched a movie. Kunimi cuddled with Matsu and Oikawa cuddled with Iwaizumi. Then when the movie was done Oikawa and Kunimi fell asleep on the floor. Matsukawa didn't sleep but he kinda laid in a chair with his eyes shut. Iwaizumi was laying on the couch with his eyes wide open lost in thought. He looked around and he thought everyone was asleep so he went into the other room and opened the glass sliding door and sat out there to think. It was pretty cold but he didn't want to go back inside to get a jacket or anything so he just dealt with it. He was sitting there and he began to think about that time with Ushijima. He remembered just so easily agreeing to it without even knowing him. He remembered the texture of it in his mouth and he remembered the pleasure he had received. But then he remembered the regret. He hated how he just let this random guy be his first sexual encounter just because he was kinda hot. He wished he had waited, waited for someone like Oikawa. "...hey..." Iwaizumi jumped and turned around and saw Matsu standing in the doorway. "Sorry" he said "I didn't mean to scare you" "no, it's okay. Did I wake you?" "No. I wasn't asleep. I saw you had left and then I wondered if you were okay..." "I'm not sure that I'm fine tbh. I'm just regretting the whole Ushijima thing again. I felt really bad having to tell that to Oikawa. He seemed okay with it but I don't fully believe he is fine. I don't want him to think I'm some cheap hoe..." "hey! You are not a cheap hoe" Matsu said wrapping his arms around Iwaizumis cold body. "You were just lost in the moment and you wanted to try something. We all have those moments. The thing that separates you from being a hoe is how you reacted to it and you obviously feel bad and you didn't keep doing it so that just shows how mature you are! We all do stupid things, trust me... but let's get one thing straight, you are a really great person Iwaizumi and Oikawa is lucky to have you." Then Matsu went to stand up and give Iwaizumi some space but Iwaizumi said "wait, can you hold me a little longer..." "yes I can. I'm always here for you." Then Matsu re wrapped his arms around Iwaizumi and pulled him close to his chest. Iwaizumi was still pretty cold. Matsu looked down at Iwaizumi sitting in front of him and wondered if he would be all right. Iwaizumi was glad that Matsu was there to help him feel better, he was always there for him ever since they were young kids. He started to remember everything he had done for him and he realized that he really was the best friend he could have ever asked for. They just sat there for about an hour and then Matsu looked closely at Iwaizumi and realized he had fallen asleep. Matsu stroked Iwaizumis head and then picked him up and laid him on the couch. He got him some blankets so he could warm up. As Matsukawa was tucking him in he heard Iwaizumi mutter in his sleep "thank you Matsu..." and Matsu smiled and ran his hand through his hair one last time knowing that he was gonna be okay. Matsu then walked over to where Kunimi was laying, and kissed him on the forehead and said "I love you Kunimi." And then he walked over to Oikawa and said "Iwaizumi loves you, a lot. He really does. Just remember that." Then he went to sleep in the chair.

Oikawa had faintly heard what Matsukawa had said and it made him smile. He was so happy that Iwaizumi loved him the way he loved Iwaizumi. Kunimi was awake when he heard Matsu tell him he loved him and when Matsu was asleep, Kunimi whispered... "I love you too Matsu"
