"Due to the accident in America. She's lost her sight. But, in return. It appears that her other senses of heighten extraordinarily. Able to hear the faintest of sounds from meters away, smell distinct scents through floors and walls, get distinct ingredients in foods, and feel the vibrations and such through the air. There are other things she can do with these enhanced senses, but these are just the basics we can see now."

"Sir! Sir! What about Abe Doll's quirk? Her parents have sight required quirks, but with her eyesight gone, can she still use hers?"

The suited man clears his throat, glancing over at the two parents to his left before going back to the cameras and microphones being carried by people.

"Abe Doll does not have a quirk. She did not inherit one from her parents."

This causes an uproar of more questions.

"I apologize, but I'm going to have to cut this interview short."

The man steps away from the press, ushering the parents inside the hospital and back to Doll's room.

Inside the room, Doll sits on the edge of her bed. Head hangs as she messes with her hospital gown. A nurse is running tests and checking her injuries.

Her bandages are all off to reveal red burn marks on her arms and legs, some on her neck as well. There's also small scars from cuts and scrapes here and there.

At the sound of footsteps approaching the room, Doll lifts her head and a few seconds later the door opens. The nurse, having seen the actions, hums. Still amazed with how advanced her senses are.

"How'd it go?" Doll asks quietly.

"It went alright, how are you doing sweetheart?"

"I'm alright... I heard the question about my quirk..."

Her father chuckles, "it's crazy how well your hearing is."

"How long will I be here for?"

"There's still a lot of tests that need to be run. And with your new senses, it'll take a bit for you to get used to them and get a better grip at using them," the nurse answers. "But we hope that you'll be out of here as soon as that's done. But you'll need to come in for regular check ups at least for a few months so we can make sure there's no other injuries."

"We're gonna stay here in Japan for a while, maybe even move here. Since American hospitals don't have the equipment to take care of you if something else happens."

"But... we can't afford to move everything here... The hospital bills are probably already expensive..."

Mingan smiles, "it's alright, honey. As long as you're being treated, we don't mind."

"Yeah, plus, some of the press outside is willing to pay to get even just a single question answered by you," Isaiah adds.

"Right, we'll manage somehow. There's no need to worry."

Doll nods, "okay..."

"Alright, the blood sample I took will be processed and we'll have the results tomorrow. I'll leave you three to get some rest now. Doll, be careful of your burn scars, they still aren't fully healed but we want them to breath."

"Okay..."

"Right, goodnight you three."

Doll listens to the door open and then the retreating footsteps down the hall before the door closes. Then she focuses on her parents' breathing and heartbeats. As she gets their basic outlines through feeling the air, she could almost see their silhouettes as she looks over at them. Nothing detailed, just a rough outline as they walk over to the chairs to her right and sit down.
