"KeKe where are you Daa-dadyy miss youu". My drunk father says coming into my room. I just stay seated on the bed and keep my eyes glued to the tv.
He stumbles toward me. When finally gets to me he slaps the hell out of me.
I fall back on the bed.
"I'm sorry Daddy. Please don't touch me Daddy. Think about it you're drunk, you won't remember this beautiful moment between us. You should just wait until you're sober". I say not meaning a single word I just want him to leave me alone.
He gets on top of me. I just look up at the ceiling praying for this to be quick either that or I hope that he passes out before anything can happen.
I feel him take off my pants then he takes off my underwear.
"What a pretty body you have Lani. A pretty face, A pretty body. What have I done to be soooo deserving". My Father slurs. I just hold back my tears waiting for it to be over.
Slam!
"Hey Kehlani, I just noticed you weren't at schoo- Lathan cuts himself off once he sees what's happening to me. I don't know where he went but he comes back to my room with a bat he slowly approaches my Dad who currently trying to get off to raping his Daughter. I just wait for him to hit my Dad.
BAM!
My Dad's now bloody body collapses on top of me. I quickly shove him off and hug my Boyfriend Lathan.
"What are we going to do? How are we going to explain this to the police". I say horrified of everything that could go wrong.
"Don't worry Mamas I got this I'll take care of this". He says wrapping his arms around me trying to soothe me.
END OF FLASHBACK
I snap back to reality when I hear Lathan calling me. I look over at him.
"Yeah, Lathan what's wrong?". I say noticing the tense look on his face.
"There is a car following us, Get the gun". He says calmly. I just look at him shocked. Even with all the crazy shit that's happened to us we have never had anyone chase us not even the cops.
"Fuck are you looking at me for, Girl start shooting, remember what I told you kill them, before they kill you". He says trying to get them off our trail.
I roll down the window and pick up the gun and I start pulling the trigger not even caring who they hit. Even after I see a few people on the ground and blood everywhere I keep shooting until I see the car stop. Once I see it do that I throw the gun in the back of the car and roll up the window and just glare at Lathan who just hums along to the song on the radio acting as if nothing just happened.
"What the hell is wrong with you? We just killed more innocent people, All cause if what our dumbass mistakes". I say angrily at Lathan.
"Correction YOU just killed more innocent people. I only killed the son of a bitch who tried to rape you a.k.a your Father. So you need to relax". Lathan says calmly.
I just glare at him for bringing up my Father I watch him as he changes the radio station.
"The police have discovered that the Male who they thought was behind the robbery was not the person they were looking for in fact that person doesn't even exist. But they did find fingerprints in that ID and they just so happened to belong to serial robbers(Idk if that's what you call someone who repeatedly robs places so let me know if what that would be called) Lathan Echols and Kehlani Reyes. They are now wanted criminals. If anyone sees them please call the cops immediately and you will receive some type of payment. That's all for today". The lady on the radio says.
As soon as I hear that I roll down the windows and I puke.
"Dammit Kehlani, what the hell is wrong with you, I'm sure some of it got on the car. Now I have to clean that and we don't really have time to stop and do that". He says glaring at me.
I just spit and find some gum to get the nasty taste out of my mouth and I slowly drift off to sleep.
"Lani"
"Lani"
"Babygirl wake up". Lathan says patting my thigh.
I open my eyes to see that we're at someone's house.
"Lathan where are we". I ask getting out of the car.
"Hurry up and get up, We gotta go. Who knows how long we have, To rob this place". Lathan says rushing me out the car.
30 minutes later...
Lathan and I managed to get a smart TV, A loaded hand gun, Expensive jewelry, and $2,000 in cash. So It's safe to say we hit the jackpot.
"Okay Babygirl we got what needed, let's go". Lathan says grabbing my hand and walking to the back door.
As we are about to leave we hear the front door open. We try to sneak out but are stopped by a loud voice.
"HEY. WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE". A man says pulling out his phone with a woman right behind him who's paralyzed with fear.
"If you don't put everything back where you found it I'm gonna call the cops". The man's says obviously terrified.
"Hey, let's not make this more difficult than it has to be". Lathan says discreetly reaching for his gun. All of a sudden Lathan pulls me behind him and pulls the trigger twice hitting the man and who I believe was his wife.
Lathan grabs my hand and we run to the car. We just sit there in silence.
"Lathan". I whimper looking down.
"What are we going to do. That's another body". I say in tears.
"We had to do it Kehlani. Everyone we've killed was for a good reason. Your Dad tried to Rape you, My Dad was a pussy, and everyone else was gonna call the cops on our asses". He says gritting his teeth.
"Lathan the cops aren't gonna care about any of that. As far as they know. We have killed people several times and we have robbed people a thousand times. They probably want us dead by now". I say horrified of the consequences we could possibly face.
For the next few hours we just drive in silence. Finally Lathan comes to a stop and I look and see an Abandoned house.
"Lathan I swear you better not be robbing anyone again". I say glaring at Lathan.
"Hey relax by the looks of this shit no one has lived here in a minute". He says walking inside the house. I follow him into it.
"Welcome to our new house Kehlani".

Sorry it took so long for me to come out with part two but I just could not decide how I was gonna write it but enough with the excuses.
