Chapter 15

It was dark.

Everywhere around you was pitch black as if you were swimming in thick tar.

"Hello?"

The sound of your voice echoed out in the darkness, but alas, no response.

"Anyone there....?"

It was quiet once more.

You started walking ahead in a steady pace while yelling out to anyone that might be out there repeatedly.

"Someone?!"

Your pace quickened as you began to breath heavily. You began to panic.

"HELLO?!"

Your voice cracked and tears pricked your eyesight. You sunk onto your knees and stared down at the ground panting heavily.

"help......"

Your head snapped up at the small, vulnerable voice that echoed out. In the distance an outline of someone appeared.

You got to your feet quickly and ran towards the person.

"someone.....please help....."

You tried to go faster but your legs seemed to not agree with your body.

"I'm coming! Don't worry!"

'Why won't my quirk activate?! Why aren't my legs going faster dammit?!?'

You closed in on the figure to find a little girl. No. Not just any little girl,

"Eri..."

You reached out to grab her but she began fading away into the darkness.

"NO! ERI I'VE GOT YOU!"

You awoke with a gasp and was immediately hit with a pounding headache. The ground was rock hard and your back was screaming.

You brought your hand up to your throbbing scalp but immediately pulled away with a hiss.

You looked at your hand to see blood dripping from your fingertips. Your eyes narrowed and you clenched your fist.

You lifted yourself off of the ground and took a moment to assess your surroundings.

Concrete spikes stuck menacingly out of the ground and blood was splattered everywhere across the room.

Your eyes focused solely on a nearby spike that was close to where you once laid. The tip of it had bright red blood on it and seemed to be a bit dull.

'That must've been what knocked me out....'

You searched around for everyone who was there with you.

'Midoriya is on top of some concrete spikes......Mirio and Nighteye are with Eri...good. Where's Eraserhead?'

You tried to look around for you homeroom teacher but with no luck, he was nowhere in sight.

You did find Chisaki, though, and just the sight of the man who was cruel enough to do such a thing to a child send a cold shiver down your spine.

You made a move to go forward but locked eyes with Nighteye, who shook his head at you. You stopped, trusting your sensei, even though you wanted to beat the shit out of this monster.

You knew you couldn't teleport, because the noise it makes is too loud and Overhaul will be notified of your position right away, so what can you do in this situation?

You thought back to one of your first days at U.A. when Bakugou used a sneak attack on Midoriya during the hero and villain mock battles.

'Thats it. I surprise him when someone else is attacking.'
