Chapter 19

"So you're telling me, that you guys almost beat the crap out of grade school kids?!"

You looked at the two boys incredulously, barely managing to hold back your wide smile. Todoroki nodded at your statement.

"Yup...pretty much."

You couldn't hold it in anymore, and you exploded in laughter. Wiping away fake tears with your hands.

"Oh My Gosh this is GOLD!"

You burst into another fit of laughter, unable to hold in the wheezes that you let out. The two boys beside you, though, did not find the situation funny in the slightest.

"Stop fucking laughing, would ya?"

You did your best to calm your breathing so you could look over to see the angry pineapple sitting next to you. But you lost it again seeing the embarrassed blush on his face.

"I'm sorry it's just-WHEEZE-you guys are all strong and scary but then-GASP-you can't handle elementary schoolers!"

Bakugou rolled his eyes with a 'tch' and looked the other way while Todoroki let a small smile slip through at the amusing situation at hand.

Coming down a bit from your high, you took a quick glance at your watch only to shoot up with wide eyes.

"Would you look at the time! I gotta skrrt guys!"

With that you grabbed your jacket and slammed the door behind you.

Both Todoroki and Bakugou shared a look, before sharing a shrug and scooting over on the couch to accommodate the gap you left.

You arrived in front of the hospital room door next to Midoriya and Mirio right on time when Aizawa turned the corner and headed your way. 

'The perks of literally controlling time.'

Aizawa gave you a look and you only gave him a toothy close-eyed smile. Your teacher - and now legal guardian - let out a quiet sigh before opening up the door to show the little girl known as Eri sitting up in her hospital bed. When she heard the door open she turned her head your way.

All four of you began a conversation with the girl, and soon enough she asked you what yours and Midoriya's name was.

"Well, my hero name is Taimuka, but you can just call me (F/N), it's easier that way."

You gave the girl a smile as she gave you a small nod.

You quietly shut the door to the hospital room and turned to look at Aizawa, who was leaning against the hallway wall.

"Go on ahead guys, I'll stay back for a sec."

The two high schoolers you were with gave you a nod and continued to the hospital entrance as you made your way the your guardian.

"Thanks for letting Eri come to the festival..."

He shifted his tired red eyes to look at your shorter form, he then let out a grunt.

"Nothing is official yet.....and I also think that this is exactly what that girl needs."

Your lips upturned into a small smile. He raised an eyebrow at you.

"What?"

A giggle escaped your lips.

"You act all scary, but you really do have a soft spot for kids huh?"

He rolled his eyes at you and outstretched his hand to ruffle up your (H/C) locks.

"Only the kids I like."
