Chapter 16

~I'd Rather forget~

Ten year old Kaminari, living with his mother and grandma. Made fun of at school for the crimes his father had committed.

He hated his father, he hated eveything about him. He wanted to forget about him, to forget that he had to live with that man for four more years.

He hated the praises his father-no- that man got, he hated the way he lied, he hated how he'd get drunk every night and return home with that man's brother only to beat and rape his mother.

He hated being locked in his room by that man, and not bring able to do anything about the cries. He hated not being able to get enough evidence sooner than later.

When he did get evidence, he was nine. The whole thing had been talked about on the news for weeks.

That man was sent to prison for who knows how long, problobly a month. He was stripped of the title hero, and Kaminari never saw him or his uncle again. He wanted it that way.

He hated being told he would turn out like that man, that he had his genes, that it was bound to happen. That he'd hurt someone, just like that man did to his mother.

Denki got in trouble plenty of times for leaving broken noses on kids who'd say that, his mother got countless complaints. So he learned to ignore it and place and joking facade.

But what he hated the most, was how similar he looked to that man. His hair, his quirk, his eyes. All of it was the resembles of that man, and he hated it.

But he was glad to have taken the surname 'Kaminari' for it belonged to his mother's side of the family, but he knew that man had problobly taken it too.

At ten years of age, Denki had became an elder brother. His sister was lucky enough to have the black strands of his mother's hair, but sadly got that man's eyes.

He and his mother tried the best they could to not let the little girl known who that man was, protect her from the truth until they couldn't anymore.

At twelve years of age, Denki learned how to protect his mother from any man that neared her with bad intentions with his quirk.

At fourteen years of age, Denki neared his dream of becoming a hero unlike his father. A true hero who protected everyone he could.

Finally, at age fifteen, Denki Kaminari was accepted into U.A. a new beginning for him. His family couldn't be anymore proud of him.

But it did not mean he forgave and forgot, it did not mean he came to terms with his trauma, or that the nightmares ever stopped.

But he'd rather forget it all, yet again that was imposible to do.
